Something’s not right

-Enigma-

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Sleep well @Former-Member 💜🌷
You’ve been very busy. I hope you can rest a bit tomorrow.
I tried to have a quiet day today.
Stayed home and just did what I had to do.
Still really uptight and exhausted.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Raining all day here.
Nighty night 💕

I hope the ab’s work quick for you too @Shaz51 💜🌺
I guess you’re having lots of rain there too.
Good thing is it’s giving you time off work to rest and recover.
Night night ❤️

Re: -Enigma-

Hi @Shaz51 - I hope the abs are working for you and that you are feeling better.

Hi @Former-Member@Bunniekins I didn't rest today, I was too busy working of my cross stitch/embroidery project I wish to exhibit at the retreat I am going to Feb next year. I received a new stand and frames to work with that are handcrafted heirlooms from England today, and it has made my work much easier and more pleasurable. I am a bit of a workaholic, in the sense I am always working on something or doing something and don't usually stop. But yes, I overdo it at times and don't see my bed until after 12:00am most nights. I feel good today as this craft is very relaxing 😊

Also our new house contract exchanged today and so the legalities of our new home ownership are finalised, which has been a dream of mine for many years and is finally happening! I will be in my dream home in no more than 9 months time. That's the good news.

Bad news is my daughter has gone back to the dangerous chap. She will get hurt and I will once again have to pick up the pieces. When she is with him she nearly totally ignores us. We were suppose to have a lunch date today which she herself suggested but she didn't bother to turn up to go. He is controlling her and well, here we go again. I just hope she doesn't get too badly damaged or hurt. One day at a time.

Glad to read you had a quiet day @Former-Member. That you are giving yourself a good chance to recoup and recover from the other days shock and stress. I can understand you would still be uptight as it is a heavy load you are both under. How is your daughter now? Thinking of you both x 😘

Re: -Enigma-

That’s good that you have the embroidery to keep you busy and relaxed @Former-Member 💕
Awful that your daughter has gone back with the guy though. Must be so hard for you seeing her with someone who’s abusing her.
My daughter is slowly getting her strength back, thanks for asking.
She’s not quite up to studying hard, but has been going to uni. She’s a fighter. She has her faith back. 🙏

Are you feeling any better? @Shaz51 ❤️

Not sure how I’m going to start my day again. Feeling so blah all the time. Had a bad nightmare again. 😳

Oh well 😔 Have to get daughter to uni to start with. Hopefully I will be able to nap later.

Have a nice day. 💜🌷

Re: -Enigma-

Sorry to hear about your daughter @Former-Member some day I am sure with all your and your partner's guidance she will come to the decision to ditch him. In the meantime I am so happy you have so many positive things happening in your life to distract you through. Looking so forward to seeing your cross stitch and the journey creating your dream home will keep you very well occupied. xxx

Re: -Enigma-

Hi @Shaz51 - it is difficult watching our children make mistakes and suffer. I have done my best with my daughter and I can do no more. Glad you got some rest and feel better 💕

Hello sweet @Bunniekins - your post was lovely. It's really hard my friend as when the positive happens, the dreams are in sight my daughter brings grief to try and take it all away. She won't pay rent and uses us once again. We have insisted she do so and now we are the worst parents in the world again.

So once again she will have to move out and I am struggling emotionally. But, I am doing my best not to let it stop me from living as we have been so good to her, it's not right - I have allowed that for far too long, allowing the grief to make me unhappy. So I am fighting that by not allowing my pain to stop my routine. So even with a massively headache I did some cardio areobic exercise for 20 mins and now I am going to do some more stitching.

I just put my new hand dyed linen in my new frame and stand - all set up to do some stitching for exhibition at the retreat. I have inserted some photos below of this and a picture of the design I will be stitching. No stitching on it at this stage but I will update and post pics as I do some - which I will be starting now.

What are your plans for today? 💜
