Something’s not right

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Re: Over The Edge

@Former-Member Good morning. You had quite a day yesterday. I think the pastoral care is a good one. Just the fact that there is someone in tune can be comforting to many, along with prayer and ongoing support. Do you have someone in mind?

Sounds like your daughter is coming through things @Former-Member, all your hard hard work and suffering are paying off. Just protect yourself.

The area I live there are about 20 other flats off a Main Street. Not a villa but all owned by catholic care. The garden pics are out the back. I was lucky to have an empty canvas. The lady who lived here before didn't do anything with the garden. There is a good area and we are allowed to do what we want, I'm enjoying it.

Josh just said on tv 40 expected in NSW, that's very hot for September, I think we are expecting 16.

I hope your husbands health picks up, I know you worry. My friend bought a Chinese medicine thing for someone she knows with lung problems. It's supposed to do wonders for chest problems. I could get the name of it if you are interested. It cast $20.

Today im picking up a pair of shoes I've been paying off. I'm excited as I love them. Good for summer. Tomorrow my friend has to be away for the day so I will have the dog. I might take them both to the athletic centre next door for a good run, it will do us all good.

A high five.

Glad your daughter is growing up @Former-Member

Early in September I had a few peak events singing with 2 different choirs. They were with great people, musicians and wonderful works. One was a new work about historical Australian figure. Great narrative practise as well as music.

Problem is I have been over stretched for far too long I need a lot going on for me to feel functional and distracted from myself.

There is only so much distraction works. It is not my first approach though, I usually have been forced to fly between the horns of my dilemnas from a very young age. Distraction has only been a luxury late in life.

I dont want to write too much but next is preparing for Royal Commission. I do a little work on statement and back off and deal with current time. Very Delicato atm. Had a lovely 25th birthday with my son this week.

Hi @Maggie@Appleblossom@Faith-and-Hope and all,

@Appleblossom - I like distraction too but that balance is all important. Be kind to yourself as you face a very harrowing emotional journey before you with the Royal Commission. Am here if you need me my friend.

How are you both @Maggie and @Faith-and-Hope? I have been thinking about you always.

Sorry for the late post but I had a turn yesterday. Not sure if it's a complication of the flu, the medication for it or stress but am going to have further tests today and next week. Feeling quite weak so this post we'll be brief, just wanted you all to know that I am thinking about you and send lots of love. ❤️❤️💜❤️💜💜💜❤️❤️🌹X

Re: Over The Edge

@Former-Member I really am sorry to hear your health has taken a dip. Hoping the tests come up with something helpful that can be worked through. You are under a lot of stress atm probably making relaxation very difficult. I'll keep it brief so you can get in some rest. Thinking of you sending warm wishes and a hug.
