So good to read all enjoyed Enya. She has sings such beautiful tune soothe the soul.
Good to hear from you @Appleblossom - sorry to read that you are feeling a bit flat. What has been happening with you lately? Are you still singing in the choir, teaching piano etc? Would love to hear what you have been up to.
Hope your heater is working for you by now @Zoe7and you are finding relief from the cold 💕
@Faith-and-Hope - how is your daughter's neck?
I hope your rise in medication eases your anxiety somewhat @Maggie. I know that when my anxiety/agrophobic was bad they did help ease mine giving relief. Lets us know how it goes.
I didn't see my daughter today as I was at work. But she rang my husband and seemed in better spirits. She told him she is starting to realise the value of money and will have to watch her spending. She is learning and I am now so glad we did not step in and bail her out as this made her more responsible. A good thing.
We were quite busy at the shop today and the staff were in good spirits. Except for a couple of instances- we were informed that a friend of the chairlady's sister, whom was around my age, committed suicide. Really tragic. I had not met the deceased person but had met her sister a couple of times and she is a beautiful lady. We were meant to catch up for a game of bowls. I feel so sad for her and her family. Apparently the deceased had been struggling for awhile but that's all I know of her struggle for now. I just wish I could of met her in time.
Also another lady waiting on the line to be served just burst out into tears, violently shaking all over and nearly fell to the ground. We were all shocked and went to her assistance. She was sobbing so hard. A few men and woman helped her to her car (I had to stay behind the register). They later found out that her husband was dying of a brain tumour and she herself was unwell. Life can be so horribly cruel at times. I keep thinking about her and wondering how she is coping. I was thinking we should have a pastoral care person or similar type of support person to follow up on customers whom are so distressed to see if they are alright. What do you think of this idea? Do you think it is going too far?
We do come across quite a few people in distress at our work, but we also see happy people whom are glad we are there offering this service as it's helping them a lot. So it's a good balance happening there I think.
I loved the pics of the garden - looks like you have a nice big planting area. Is it in your backyard? Do you live in a villa? It will look spectacular when fully grown. Gardens bring so much joy and relaxation- I definitely will plant another when I move.
Husband is still quite sick and is going back to the GP tomorrow. I hope he won't end up in hospital.
I was just thinking about the writing group today myself. It will be quite busy up until my daughter moves out and settles. Once that is done I will probably be relaxed enough to think something up and start the writing group. So hopefully not long now.
Do you have any plans for tomorrow? I think I will retire early tonight as I can hardly keep my eyes open. I will be cleaning the house all day tomorrow but may also sneak some cross stitch in as well. Sweet dreams my friends 💕🤗xx
