Something’s not right

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Thank you @Faith-and-Hope@Shaz51@NikNik@oceangirl@BlueBay@Maggie. Your posts made my day even better. Love you all ❤️

@oceangirl - You said when I Just about had given up hope, that my dream home would happen. Should of never doubted you. Thank you my beautiful friend.

@Faith-and-Hope - thank you for always being there when I need a boost. You are so special to me. Your turn is coming soon.

@Shaz51 - you are always so gracious and humble - a joy and a light.

@BlueBay - thanks for not forgetting me and wishing me the best even though you struggle yourself. Yes good things happen, dreams come true in time. Never give up ❤️

@NikNik - Thank you for being such a positive force here on the forums. It's comforting knowing you are around. Thank you for your kindness. 💕

@Maggie - sounds like it was well and truly worth going out on that beautiful drive through the mountains and small towns. Just magical 🌈

Once my strength picks up I may just start a short story collaborative writing group. I would need a few volunteers - would you be up for it? Could be a lot of fun 🙃🤸‍♀️.

I did manage to read something today. A thriller novel called "Cradle and All" by James Patterson. I found it hard to put down. Well written and keeps one on the edge...Can't wait to read more. I love it when a novel hooks me in.

My best friend whom had the kidney cancer surgery popped in to see me today. She is looking and feeling better and we had a good laugh and talk like always. It's been a good day all round for both of us. May the sun shine again tomorrow for us all 😊 I am knacked also - it must be all the excitement 😅. So I will retire early also. Sweet dreams my friend and will chat again tomorrow. Thanks for being such a wonderful friend 💜🌹xx

Re: Over The Edge

Good morning @Former-Member The writing group sounds good and yes...count me in....though I warn you, I'm not a writer, I find it hard to elaborate, but I'll be in.

You sound like your day yesterday went well, the tide may have turned. Your friend sounds like she enjoyed your company, nothing like a good laugh, even when you're sore.

Yes the drive was good, beautiful country and Tassie is at its best with snow topped mountains and wide open spaces. I love nature, proof that growth is happening though unseen.

Thank you for being a wonderful friend to me also, your warmth always comes through your posts. I hope your day goes well.
