Something’s not right

-Enigma-

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Re: -Enigma-

Thank you @Appleblossom my friend. It was a relief to see his suffering come to an end. His wife felt the same - but it is hitting her now. We are both in disbelief as it happened so fast.....eight months from diagnosis. I feel for my best friend (his wife).

The house selling and building is a huge stress, fun in some ways, but I will be glad when we have moved in and settled. Hopefully this will be our last move.

How is your son doing? Hope all is well in your world 💖

Re: -Enigma-

I know its stressful @Former-Member as making many of the choices comes with consequences which need research and consideration.

We moved into our new home over 15 years ago, now. A few cracks are starting to show. It was a budget build though. I have replaced the stove/oven and recently many pipes in the plumbing. SOmetimes I want to stay and other times I see some little cracke=s and I want to go. We will see.

This week has been good and settled. My son and I have good projects and the legal business is steady.

Take Care of you, your hubby and friend.

I hope your daughter also sees sense long term/

Re: -Enigma-

That's tough, really hard for you @Former-Member

My Dad died from cancer, 2 & 1/2 years ago.

Last Sunday, so recent, just 1 week ago.

It does sound like you've been very busy, doing & managing lots of things.

Funerals are really hard, for me at least.

Meaningful ritual & goodbyes for many people.

I have very low energy, I've been largely wiped-out over most of the weekend.

I had a massage this morning, that helped.

My yoga teacher yesterday morning told me that she first went to yoga (years ago) to manage her anxiety. It's a work in progress (managing anxiety), she said.

She's the second yoga teacher who has told me that was her motivating reason (anxiety) for starting yoga.

That was also why my psychologist suggested yoga to me, almost 7 years ago.

A better place for your friend (& my Dad too) - yes I certainly hope so.

I should look up Crossstitch, I've often wondered how that is done.

I would love to be arty & crafty, so far I'm not (except in admiring arts & craft).

Really sorry to hear about your friend.

Must be hard for you. 💜💖

Hows your daughter going?

I haven’t been able to read much on forums. Been having dramas/traumas and not coping/feeling unwell. Long story.

Only just now caught up on your news.

Hope you are ok. Lots of work for you to do with moving etc.

sleep time.

Night night.

Take care. 🌷🌸

Just sending a quick warm hello to @outlander@Adge@Former-Member@Appleblossom@NatalieS@oceangirl and to all who passes through 😘

Sorry to see Bella has left, it's like a ghost town here now as most have left. Such a shame.

Going pretty good here. Haven't stopped, very busy with my volunteering and being there for my best friend who is heartbroken. Such a dark time for her.

Daughter has two jobs now and is climbing out of debt and getting back on track.

I am just about to have a drone fly over our home - part of the marketing to sell our home. Not long now till we move.

Hoping everything is well with you all as I haven't read any of the threads on here so am clueless - thinking of you all with fondness always xxxx 💖
