Something’s not right

-Enigma-

-Enigma-

I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Thinking of you ❤

Re: -Enigma-

Hi @outlander

Thank you for thinking of me. I am sorry I have not replied earlier - have been struggling abit with the gloomy cold weather (low vitamin D contributing to that) and been quite busy. Have been thinking about you. How are you going?

I returned from my volunteering and my wonderful husband is cooking dinner while I put my feet up. I nearly didn't get there as my fatigue has worsened because of the weather. The doctor said it will take a few months until my D levels become normal again, so I am not concerned. I will get there 😊 I had a great day - I love being around most people - I am a real people person and most in the shop lift my mood. It does not matter what gender or age, most who work with me are males between 25 - 45 and a few females 35 - 70. I get on with all.

Being at home too much does the opposite for me as it gets me down - do you find that? The more I am around nice people who like a chat and a laugh the better, so I force myself out.

Hi @Appleblossom - I have been thinking about you as well - how did the choir go on Sunday? How are things at home presently? I hope you have also had a chance to rest - ongoing stress, especially of the emotional kind can be so utterly draining. I hope things are picking up even a little in that area for you ❤️ xx

Hi @Former-Member - how are you today my friend? Did you get a chance to go to yoga/gym this week or for more walks along the lake? That sounds like my cup of tea. I wish I could go for walks with you and Holly. To answer your earlier questions - my husband has had the all clear for tumours in his kidney and his other problems have largely improved. He declined the neck operation because of the risks and the specialist could not even guarantee he would be free of pain - so he has refused to go ahead with it. He is doing strengthening exercises (gentle) and uses a tens machine which is helping, but when resting he wears a neck brace. He is a tough little cookie - he never lets it stop him. Time will tell if he will have to reconsider surgery or not.

How is your husband going? How are you feeling about everything? Always here if you need to talk - you are always welcomed to post here if you need a friend. And yes, we all need one. My close friend here is not doing so well - it's so hard to watch but even harder for her to go through. Her husband is detoriating rapidly and I go round and sit with them as much as I can. Life is just so hard sometimes.....When there I try and laugh and lighten things up as I know that helps them.

Sending a warm shoutout to @Shaz51@Former-Member@Bunniekins all who else is passing bye 👋 💜❤️💜❤️ xx

Hi @Former-Member

No need to apologise at all.

Your sounding abit run down but at least you know whats causing it. You gotta slow down loveley even just a little bit ❤

Really good to hear you had a good day though being in your volunteer work. And how loveley of your hubby too. Good to hear hes looking after you too.

How is your foot going? Has it healed abit more?

In response to: Re: -Enigma-

Re: -Enigma-

Thank you @outlander. Yes it has healed quickly from the initial injury, still acts up a little in the cold but not too bad. Yes, I have a good man beside me, there I am blessed.

My daughter has mentioned that she hopes to move in with the creep soon. What can I do? I will mention to her that if she sees any signs of abuse that she is welcome to come straight back to us. This creep has been inside for domestic violence. I don't know what she thinking. A real concern for a parent. But she is an adult.....See my dilemma.

It is reassuring that I know what is causing my fatigue and will get on top of it. I was glad they found something fixable 😊

How is your hand now? I suppose it's still early days. How has your days been?

Re: -Enigma-

Oh good im glad its healed up @Former-Member

Hmm yes very concerning indeed. If it was me id live with you and start again away from him. But can be a hard situation too.

My fingers getting there slowly. I can wiggle all of them now and im practicing grabbing a stress ball as part of physio. I think theres something wrong with my wrist though. . Its just really painful doesnt feel like what theyve told me is wrong. It doesnt feel right but ive told thr hand specialist twice and she doesnt seem all that concerned just monitor for now so will have to tell her again on tuesday.

Hows the weather at your end of the woods? Any plans for tomorrow?

Re: -Enigma-

My wish is that she would start again away from him too. She tried to move away but he woos her back. And this feeds her low self esteem and lures her back....so the vicious cycle continues. More abuse, more damage, lower self esteem........I can only be there to pick up the pieces.

It is a good idea to mention it to the specialist again about your wrist....it is probably reacting to the exercises you are doing as it's not use to it. The specialist will be able to advise there (whether to slow down or do it more gently etc???).

The weather is miserable here - cold and wet. Am sitting in my favourite recliner with the heating going. Am getting frustrated with it though as it keeps me housebound - I like to get out on the beach and walk.

Tomorrow I am going over to see my close friend and her sick husband. This is weighing heavily on me as he doesn't have long and they are like family to me. I need to be strong for them and my family. I can't wait to get healthy again and get my zest back and be the old me again - full of life 😃 Do you have any plans for tomorrow?

Re: -Enigma-

Must be so hard as a parent @Former-Member i cant imagine what it would be like for you.

No.. i had this pain when it was first done and still in the cast. It feels like somethings in there pinching everything but its not just a quick pinch itgoes for up to an hr at a time and pain relief heat etc doesnt help.

The weather is very miserable here too but clearing up in the next day or so. Youll be back beach walking in no time.

Your day sounds a little tough not through friends fault just seeing people unwell can be hard. Make sure yu take care of yourself too ❤

No plans for me as yet. Will see what happens tomorrow hey

Re: -Enigma-

That sounds like nerve pain @outlander - sounds very painful. Hopefully the specialist will have the answer.

Whatever the day brings for you tomorrow I hope it brings moments of relief from pain and moment where you feel content. You are a beautiful person and deserve these times. No ones life is like that all the time, it just those moments and certain fulfilling experiences makes it all worthwhile.

I just hope and pray my daughter comes to no real harm. She does bring me grief. I am looking towards a future where that will change, she will grow and her life will improve. In the meantime I need to live mine, so I will self nurture to the best of my ability.

Thanks for your friendship and support my lovely 😊 xx 😘

Re: -Enigma-

Thanks for tagging me @Former-Member as well as for the quick wrap up of where things are at with you.

I will get back to you later when I have more time to respond properly and a mind which cooperates with a bit of concentration. My mind seems like mush right now. 😳
