Re: I will...

I totally get the 'not thinking' thing @Former-Member Offer is there if you need

I agree with you - I hope too that it is something that can be treated easily because the pain is so hard to get through at times.Apart from my absolute fear of hospitals, the thought of anyone touching me AND being 'asleep' is terrifying - add to that my concerns about the anaesthetic (after my reaction at the dentist) - it is all terrifying.

I am already starting to feel the effects of reducing one of my meds - severe headache and dizziness - and the side effects of the new med are unknown at present. Another week reducing this one until I start the new one - the main concern for my psych and GP is sinking further into deep depression over the next few weeks while the new med starts working. I don't think personally I could get much lower but time will tell I suppose.

Forgot to ask @Former-Member - what are you studying?

Re: I will...

yes, the issue of tests and being touched etc it terrifing for me too. i havent had to have surgery perse or be knocked out for anything since i was a kid but the thought does scare me too.
I'm trying to do some online study stuff for my registration hours @Zoe7 - one course on differentiating the curriculum and some update courses that need doing as well 😞

Re: I will...

Are you looking at differentiating the curriculum for gifted students or for all students across the board @Former-Member?

In response to: Re: I will...

Re: I will...

across the board @Zoe7 but i really wanted to focus more on stretching the higher end kids who dont get as much time as the lower end kids...

Re: I will...

Yeah we have extra resources and time put into kids on the very lowest end of the scale and the higher end (and 'average') kids then often get left behind I also don't believe inthe current 'climate' of 'over-reporting' that weare able to differentiate our lessons to take into account the varying learning styles of our students @Former-Member - but then I would use Art for everything lol

Re: I will...

hehe, you'd probably integrate it well and help kids make so much more meaning through it though 😄
The last few years have been ridiculous with testing and retesting and programming per child. its crazy. we quite literally had 16 staff away one day this term at my school (not just teachers but student support workers too). mostly due to exhaustion and stress. @Zoe7

Re: I will...

haha - I have been know to use Art before in every curriculum area @Former-Member lol

I know - it is crazy You literally have meetings to discuss meetings these days!!!!

I would like to see some of the 'decision makers' actually spend even one day in the classroom (and that is even without all the paperwork!)

Goodnight lj - rest up and I do hope you get some sleep (I am glad I was here with you also )
