Something’s not right

When everything starts crashing.

When everything starts crashing.

Do you ever feel like your standing infront of your self watching your world crash?

Do you feel like you are losing control but know you can't stop it and just have to let it happen?

That's how I'm feeling. I feel like I have no control and I can see everything in slow motion falling apart but I can't do anything about it.

I'm trying to keep busy and going but it's just making me manic and hardcore panic attacks and as soon as I stop I start to cry and think what's the point of life.

I reached out to friends but they don't care. They all have children and jobs now and I understand they are busy but be nice if they came over and just gave me a hug and we watch trash tv and eat cake.

My husband just keeps going ok ok ok ok ok ok ok I understand. But how can he really understand. I just don't feel supported by him. I keep telling him I'm breaking I need to slow down but he's like you will be fine.

I know I'm breaking and it's going to be a mess. And I hate I can't stop it.

I tried a new drug today. I'm scared of medication as I hate being dependent on it. I tried a quarter of what the doctor wanted me to take. I felt like I had 5 shots of Tequila and a relaxent all in one. My hands started to fly in the sky and my panic levels went crazy. So I was like no just think you have had a drink and that calmed me down but I can still feel it playing in my mind.

I feel like I can't live a functional life with out medication. I try so hard and I'm sussceding in so much of it but it's burning me out and I know this fall that's about to happen is going to set me far back. Life on pills just makes me feel dumb and slow and what type of life is that.

I'm just starting to think what type of life am I going to have?

I read an article on people with deppresion and it's like of nothing makes you happy including medication and therapy you should just live for others. That upset me so much. It's like you got no hope so help others you empty person.

This week to 5 of my friends have moved to Europe and 3 announced their pregnancy and I'm just like look at everyone moving forawd and I'm stuck and frozen. I'm trapped.

Hi @Former-Member,

It's great that there have been some really positive changes for you since the medication and I am sorry that even with good days can come bad days. It can be so frustrating.

I love that you love music - have you been to the thread A song to express our feelings? Maybe you can check out some of the songs here. I also know @Techunique started a post recently about descriptive music here too.

How is your day today?

Lauz

Hi @Former-Member no I haven't seen that thread.

Today no not at all good. I'm sinking fast and the black thoughts are creeping in. I just wish I could take something to stop it.

Sorry you needed to self harm but I’m glad you had a pretty alright day yesterday. Don’t worry, Monday is nearly over and we can try again tomorrow. Fake it till we make it, ok?

Re: When everything starts crashing.

@Sakurapuss thank you. Unfortunately the statement "Fake it till you make it" dose not apply to me at the moment. Once my body shows physical signs of distress there's no faking. My illness has taken over fully. It's now let's watch me fall apart but try do it with class.

@Former-Member see I love sugar drinks. I get sugar in my hot chocolate lol! I don't drink coffee though as prefer the sugar drinks and decided I can't do both.

I've just started going back out. One of the pros of the new medication. But due to getting older I'm like what it starts at 10:30! Haha not even 30 and turning into a granny.

Radilade had a good underground music scene going on for ages. Never been but due to knowing all the bands they use to love playing there.

Re: When everything starts crashing.

It's so strange to say 10:30 is late @Former-Member lol! I use to think I'm going to be young forever and never get tired and keep going lol. Use to see old people and be like meh boring who wants to stay at home. Now I love my bed and sleep and early diner. LOL!

I'm having so much trouble focussing tonight, it was kind of a long day and seem to be having a brain melt down tonight lol. could also be lack of sleep.
I hpe that you get a decent sleep tonight with all thats going on for you and that the urges to sh are less tomorrow. take care of you, you do matter!

Re: When everything starts crashing.

@Former-Member @Former-Member I figure I’m on the same side of 40 as you and definitely agree 10.30 is a good time for being in bed. Long gone are my days of pulling all nighters. I hope you both have a good day today. I spent 5 minutes outside in the sun and I feel better - despite being at work! Hugs.
