Spirituality can be a beautiful addition to your life.
I'm very into Aboriginal History & as I've been researching the tribe that used to live in my area (they were wiped out within 15 years of white settlement) - I have had the privilege to see visions if the ancestors walking through the forest. I have heard men talking in their language - repeating a phrase over and over again. One word I can find in their dictionary - it means heal.
I do not have auditory or visual hallucinations. I have Major Depression. I put it down to being very lucky to be able to connect with the ancestors from long ago.
Even my psychologist isn't worried. And doesn't believe I'm hallucinating. But just that I'm lucky.
So go with what you feel. Mental illness shouldn't prevent us from exploring our spiritual side.
