Re: Good Morning!

Not sure @soul, re more sorting out today. Washing and basics really. Maybe garden. Wash car, Just wrote a bit on SPRING thread - gonna be a long hard spring clean I fear lol 🔆

@Faith-and-Hope- any fin babies around this time of year?

Hiya @Bimby2, thank you, you too 💜🌷🌿

@utopia, good luck mowing the lawn, i have to do it in sections too. Whatever gets the job done. Mould is a pain, clean it off with bleech, let it dry and wipe it with clove oil. Face mask and gloves & ventilation a must. Going good Utopia - proud of you!☺

@Zoe7. Sorry you're so cold there. Hate those seasons we seem we 'can't win' any-which-way 😞 Maybe Use wheat heat packs, bed socks, ugg boots, leggings, scalves, hot chocolate, beanies, hot water bottles, electric blanky, heater, hot baths. Never mind - Summer will be here before you know it 💜🔆☕ -

Re: Good Morning!

Good morning everyone (well, now noon). Hoping for strength today, and calm. Anxiety very high, I've been very trembly the last few days. Any tips would be great although I've already resorted to camomile tea 😉 Warmer weather is great, I missed the sun.

Re: Good Morning!

Good afternoon @SwearyCyn. Camomile Tea is a good start. How about sitting in your front yard or backyard or balcony and getting a bit of sun. The sunshine helps me when I'm feeling blue.
Can you hear or see any birds from your yard? I love listening to the birds in my backyard. I can also hear cars and lawnmowers - but I try and stay focused on the bird calls or the sound of the wind.
I hope your afternoon is peaceful and calming

Re: Good Morning!

Walk the block, deep breaths, vegies, challenging houghts, less coffee, journalling & prayer, and mindfulness relaxation exercises all help me with anxiety. And talking here. Tai chi & yoga can help a lot too. Hope things pick up today for you. Good job with cammomile tea (of it doesn't make you too sleepy). Search bar other threads on anxiety here and the sane fact sheets on the home page. Hugzz ☺

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @utopia

How are you?

I'mm okay, i am waiting for my GP to call me back. I am wheezy in the chest today. It is very windy outside, not cold just windy. I read on facebook this morning that it is a terrible week for asthma again, another thunderstorm asthma, so i am going to be extra careful. I'm staying inside today, although i do have a chiro appt at 2pm to fix my neck and shoulder.

Any plans for today?

Re: Good Morning!

Thank you @utopia and @Former-Member, great tips and I've already done a few. The weather is gorgeous here today so I'm taking advantage. I'm scared to eat at the moment (choking) so I'm low on energy and fearful. This type has not happened to me before so I'm not sure if there's anything to do to combat it apart from the usual. I know I just have to keep trying, but it's so scary. Thank you all xxoo

Re: Good Morning!

@SwearyCyn - could you mash up your food to make it less likely to choke. Extra soft mashed potatoes. Pureed foods. Milk, banana mixed in a blender for easy drink. Try super soft foods today.
@BlueBay - I've cleaned the window frames in my room & mowed another big patch of grass in the backyard. Have been reading a new book by Peter Andrews called 'Back From The Brink. How Australias Landscape Can Be Saved'. A very interesting read. But I've only read a few chapters.
Am now lying down in bed having a rest and have 2 big blowflies buzzing around. Aaarrrggghhh!!!! Hate them.
Yes bad asthma weather this week. It is a timewwhen it's best to stay indoors. Is there a sunny room you can sit in at your new place. And keep your asthma pump nearby you at all times.
How long until Forum Grandbaby arrives? Due sometime in October, yes?

Re: Good Morning!

Tried to buy a fly swatter a few weeks ago @utopia and there were none to be seen. Maybe the stores will start stocking them now.
