Re: Good Morning!

Good Morning @Niqueeta,@Faith & Hope, everyone again.
@TAB I would rather have a job,get my self respect back, self worth, life of my own, than rely on welfare.I have no self worth, will never meet anyone or commit to any relationship because I feel I am nothing.I refuse antidepressants because the way I feel is my shit life and going on "happy pills",isn't the cure, been there done that f***** me up more.I have to go walking too today ,hope you enjoy it.💕

Re: Good Morning!

You're right @lovemyboys - it's his choice whether he wants contact with his father. It's important that your illfeelings towards your ex don't interfere with that relationship. I told my kids not so long ago the things that their father had done and how hard I tried to make it work. I had decided to stick it out until they had finished school putting my needs aside.

I got the feeling my kids thought my decision to leave was a bit rash but once I told them the history, they understood. My narcissist ex husband didn't take the decision well and then let loose on my daughter who he saw as a mini me.

My daughter doesn't hate him as such, just is completely indifferent.

Try not to be so hard on yourself @Former-Member. We are our own worst enemy at times. Been there many times. Hoping things get better for you.

Re: Good Morning!

it's his choice., Yes @lovemyboys, @soul, it is hard though

My mum and i left my dad when i was 12 years , as he was mentally abusing me , i was getting sicker and sicker and lost so much weight until we left because of our health -- I didn`t know that mum was very sick too and to find out what she went through before we left

mum always spoke ok about my dad and she said it was up to me if i wanted to see him , I thought i would so i went to visit him and me pushed me hard into the wall and then when he saw me down town he would hide behind a tree or jump inside a shop

Re: Good Morning!

He wants a relationship with his father I'm not going to get in the middle @soul @Shaz51
All I can do is tell him that yes it may work out but it also might not and he needs to be prepared for that.
