In case I missed you earlier -

Oh yes - Fathers Day - they keep telling us all the great things Dads like for Fathers Day which is not the point I think

Dad has been gone for well over 6 years now - luckily I had a good relationship with him and his passing was tough - but he died with great dignity and such losses can heal differently - I know Dad is not in the next room but there are times when I feel as if he could be - when I have a problem I shut my eyes for a while and think of him and what he would do - it does work

I do miss him though - but he is so deeply entrenched in my DNA - I am the child who resembles him the most - the one most like him - I know whatever happens he is okay and I will be too

So I hope you can get to Sydney and see your oldiers - esp your Dad for Fathers Day- and that he can be in his Happy Place that day - and also that your Mum is okay also - and that you can leave when you are ready - I know the whole thing can be really hard for you
