@LadyleahRDBloom - we actually bought the Tudors on dvd - we caught one late episode by mistake once and wanted to see the lot. It was good, just wished that King Henry had more of a physical presence - he was a large fella!

I know, it was a bit of a let down. Luckily JRM is a terrific actor. I've watched a lot of his work,

Another good but not accurate portrayal of Henry 8th is Eric Bana's in the other Bolyn girl. He just nails it. What made me laugh is that all the main characters in that film were marvel characters at some stage.

It is worth a looky loo.

My favourite is the "A Touch of Frost" series.

I used to watch this as a kid, and I finally bought the series after much searching around.

goodness yes, I remember that one too @EternalFlame truly loved it.

I'm watching Requiem on Netflix at the moment, not sure about it yet, only 2 episoded in, but I like the slow and quiet pace. There are some things that could be better. and I agree with everyone about that girl's hair, the fringe, for goodness sake!

Does anyone else like The Office (US) I like anything that will make me laugh, I also watch Frasier and Friends (for some reason they comfort me) and I really like Brooklyn Nine Nine.

Hello @CherryValentine Nice to see you here.

While I like a lot of cop shows, I couldn't get into Brooklyn Nine Nine. For the most part, I don't enjoy much US stuff, I find it too loud, the background noise is usually overwhelming for me.

I watched the last episode of Requiem tonight and now I can say it was really worth it. I really enjoyed the story line, and while some of the acting could have been perhaps better, it was in keeping with the story. It's quiet and slow paced and has an underlying story that isn't totally foreshadowed although it seemed a bit obvious at the beginning, things changed and there was a whole lot more.

If you like a bit of intrigue with a bit of esoteric magic-y-ish influence in the Welsh countryside, you might enjoy it.

Jessica Jones is going well too. Anyone watching Jessica?

I like Jessica Jones @Former-Member I've watched most of the marvel tv shows. They are a lot more gritty than I usually go for but good stories. I usually watch tv to laugh, always need cheering up!

I regularly watch Scrubs and Archer. If I want to have something on in the background, I will put on Family Guy. Lately I've been watching That 70s Show.

@CherryValentine

i also love watching anything that makes me laugh! yes, friends is hilarious!! i never watched it religiously when it was on but a friend of mine has got me hooked now. i also enjoy everybody loves raymond, will and grace, becker, king of queens and OMG i love the golden girls - they are priceless! i prefer the older comedy tv series. i find the ones today have to be so politically correct that the humour just isn't there like it used to be.
