@Shaz51 THANK YOU!
How very kind of you!
@Bunniekins, @Shaz51 found the place to talk about tv shows, come on over and we can chat about them to our hearts' content.
New Tricks is the one you were wondering about over there --------------> Greenpea.
I will carry the content from there to here so as not to confuse our Craftiness over that way.
Broadchurch, Vera, Happy Valley, The Fall, Endeavour, Scott and Bailey, Waking the Dead, Inspector Morse, all firm favourites of mine. Of course there are others too ...
I also watch what I can get of Scandi Noir with subtitles. Does anyone else watch subtitled tv?

@Former-Member Death in Paradise, Midsommer Murders (my ultimate fav), it all started with The Bill as a kid ... I dont normally watch subtitles but am not adverse to watching SBS shows with subtitles. Love Scott and Bailey too. 😄

I watched Death in Paradise for some time, then gave up on it, can't remember why though. Something must have annoyed me.
Yes, The Bill also. My 'kid watching' was Homicide, oh how I loved that show. Matlock Police too. Goodness memories coming back!
With subtitles, i prefer to watch in the original language with subtitles because I've found that dubbing into English more often than not, takes away from the subtle nuances of tone that the original spoken language provides.
Although not a dubbed version, but a remake into English of the originals from Scandinavian countries - I watched Forbrydelsen (Danish production) with subtitles and it's exquisite, the English version (The Killing) done by the US is awful, same with Bron: Broen (The Bridge) the remakes are horrible.
oooh, oooh, Wallender with Kenneth Branagh is brilliant too.
Oh I could go on, but must away for now.

Old Re-Runs of Shows like -
The Goodies

I enjoy Doctor Who and The X Files, but a show I'm really looking forward to seeing come back our screens is Roseanne. I enjoyed it all through the 90s and it'll be good to see if it is still as good.

Hey @Shaz51
Seems like a good thread to ask .... Are there any Alana Bloom or Caroline Dhavernas fans here? Loved Hannibal and I simply adore Mary kills people
Apart from those. I'll watch Home and Away, MKR, The Path, Greys Anatomy, The Borgias, The Tudors, Victoria and The Resident.
