Something’s not right

on the edge

on the edge

I feel destroyed. So down. So frail. So unwanted & lonely. I have been having temptations lately to hurt myself severely again. Commit suicide, I suppose.

My CYMHS team has given up on me. I have given up on myself and my family won't get me support and won't allow me to get support. They also said that if I did do anything again that they will disown me. I honestly - don't want to hurt them and I don't want to have to go through the same difficult aftermath as I did last time.

I am afraid. I am afraid that I won't be accepted help (like what has happened before) and I am afraid that I will just continue be dragging on the floor like I am right now and hit breaking point and will do something irreversible.

I feel so stuck and so confused on where to turn. I don't honestly know what to do. I dont see a future in all honesty. I am not living this life. Things shouldn't be like this.

What do I do in this sort of situation? I don't know.

Re: on the edge

I sometimes can't believe I joined here let alone stayed and have found it such a supportive place to be @Former-Member I think it is a testament to the mods and those who 'run' the site that it is such a wonderful place to be a part of.

Re: on the edge

I have come across some moderators more than others - but the ones I have talked with are absolutely amazing, not to mention all of you. The fellow users of the forum. I joined because Rockpool suggested it - and I just kinda joined by impulse but didn't expect much @Zoe7 but instead I found such a loving, caring community.

Re: on the edge

The mods are amazing - I have so much respect for what they do and how well they do their jobs @Former-Member I presume you started out with helpline/chat then and it was suggested you join because you don't need to 'talk' - must be so hard getting across to people how you are doing/feeling when you cant talk! I can;t talk for very different reasons but can write - so this forum has been invaluable in that respect.

Yes - I somehow came across Sane Australia... Don't know exactly how. Then went on the chat, and what a lovely suggestion it was.
It is very frustrating to say the least @Zoe7 - just imagine wanting to talk and NEEDING to talk but having such overwhelming anxiety that all those words become trapped inside of your head and on the tip of your tongue. You want to talk -- but you can't and then there are misconceptions.. "Why doesn't she just talk?" , "If you don't talk- we can't help you" , "If you don't talk, we are just going to discharge you and send you home" and once I heard "Wow.. she is such a control freak"

Yeah.. So glad that this is written. Not only is it open for people's creativity but also open to those who find it so difficult to communicate with others. Glad you found the forums here for that.
