Mourning all the (little) bad things that happen

Mourning all the (little) bad things that happen

Today i found out my contract is not going to be renewed.

I'm devestated. I really liked this job. I sucked at it, but I really liked it.

I feel sick at the thought I'm back looking for jobs again. I cannot deal with that. And going back on centrelink. The stress of never having enough money to pay the bills. I feel sick at the thought of it.

My boss was really nice about it. But she did spend quite a bit of time talking about how I wasn't well and I needed to take some time to get well. I just feel like such a failure. I feel like a worthless failure of a human being.

Re: Mourning all the (little) bad things that happen

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope,
I really appreciate you taking the time to explain it to me.
It's just I'm the kind of person to say the wrong thing, not meaning anything negative, but sometimes it hurts the person anyway. And I know when I'm on here I'm more sensitive than normal, so I presume others are too, and I just worry that I might have hurt people and not realised.
A friend recently brought up a comment I said maybe 6-7 years ago to him and how it had hurt him and I had meant something completely different to what he had received it as. I just wish he had mentioned it years ago so I could have made things better then, rather than now.

Pssst @Former-Member,

Peek-a-boo.

You didn't even remotely offend me. As @Faith-and-Hope said, I tend to stay out of Forum Land on the weekends because I don't feel safe with the non-SANE moderators. I super wanted to respond on the DBT thread today, but just didn't have time. I plan to respond tomorrow. Please don't fret about offending me. The easiest way to know if you have offended me is to ask me - I won't be offended by that.

All is well. See you on the DBT thread tomorrow!

God.
Dad keeps on forgetting my name.
He knows who I am and everything, but I send him emails or call him up, he doesn't always respond cause he doesn't know any "5-HT's" so he just deletes it thinking it's spam.
It just makes me feel sick. And I don't know how aware of it he is.

@Catcakes - here is an example of when talking it out worked. I now feel a lot more respect and understanding and affinity with PR now.
Often you haven't done anything wrong, you just think you have.
