Morning @outlander!
Good luck for your appointment!I'm sure the mole check will be OK whatever the outcome,we have them out all the time.I feel worse about myself going this morning,wish I could wipe the past few years away and be the old me who went to work everyday and lived life.I will look at my emails to see how you traveled.👥

Hello Claire
@outlander,
I think the brain works overtime when it comes to fighting off germs and viruses, and when you've got a brain that's in permanent overtime - it doesn't leave it much for fighting the flu! Perhaps it adds to the nightmares, the brain desperately trying to interpret too much. Hope you've got some VitC and Garlic, and that you try to get some naps in whenever you can, and don't forget to drink water! {nag, nag, nag:)}
Are you still looking after your Sisters while your Mother and Bf go away? If you are that must be fast approaching? All the more reason to rest up when you can! I feel for you and your Pop with the nasty Lurgy on the attack![]()
Hoping your resting right now![]()

I did go to my gp this morning. This silly thing checked the wrong spot! She asked if she could take a photo of my phone and I didnt think to check it and when I got home and checked it its the wrong one! So now I have to go back on tuesday when shes avaliable next to get checked again. So until then ive got to keep my aniety surrounding it pulled together. Only 4 more days to go
and i also have a dreadful virus. ive got barely any voice left, and its causing me to have earaches and headaches as well and this is just the onset, god help me in a few days when it peaks!
anyway so todays appointment was pretty useless. i know whats shes going to say about this spot now, which will be a biposy so i need to build up the courage to go face my fears and get that done by tuesday or next week sometime.

yeah my immune system is pretty low. its already fighting so many other things already.
and im pretty sure being in a constant state of anxiety/depression reduces the immune response as well

Im sure the mole wil be OK @outlander,you have to try and find a way to control your health anxiety,not that I can talk.lol or cry! I went to the doctor, everything I thought it would be and I come away feeling worse about myself.Tried to push antidepressants on me again (their way of solving my probs),said I was on them had 4 yrs of therapy,changed my life worse.Said it's my life,what I think of me ,etc that won't be fixed shoving a "happy pill"down my throat.Gave me one month medical certificate and see him in two weeks to check in.I hate how vulnerable I am.I don't know atm whether I have social anxiety avoiding people I know or whether I avoid them because I know what they are? I hate opening myself up to anyone,you open yourself up to be scrutinized,eg: doctor asks if I'm applying for jobs when I just said I've applied for six.I am tired of being in this welfare cycle.
Nothing like going to the doctor for mental health @outlander!

@Former-Member well ive had it this long i suppose another few days wont do much. i doubt its a rapidly spreading thing. if it was i would proabably have more signs but i dont. i hardly know its there.
you dont have to have medications, thats your choice and they should respect that.
im sorry your not ahving the best of lucks with your gp but im glad he seems to be more interested in your wellbeing by making you go back in 2 weeks and that hes signing your medical certificate as well
hugs and hugs ![]()
