Dealing with a problem creatively

Dealing with a problem creatively

Dear Lee,

Everyone

@Chris
Haven't forgotten about you or anyone here.
Am caring a lot for my dear friends here......
I just don't have much emotional reserve.......
I'm having to address something very hard and I've decided to move quickly.....
It's taken lots out of me but my GP is really helping me and a policeman came to my home on an unrelated matter on Sunday and has asked me to contact him.
The policeman visit was certainly bizarre but .........welcome. It was like an angel up above touched him on the nose while he was driving down the street and he decided to drop in.........

My stalker is back. I don't have any energy to push him out of my home and he puts me down, criticises, criticises. It's too shocking to write what he calls me.

My mum has said just call the police! Just kick him out!
I say to her, to others.....' but he's told the police I have MI and they have called me and yelled at me for wasting their time! I can't.....I feel there's blocks for me everywhere.'
I'm up front that I need a lot of support but this is really awful. So, I've got 3 or 4 days to run around and get letters written for me.
I've found someone to move me and the angel of good stuff is holding my hand so I'm not obvious and patting me on the head when I go to sleep.

Thanks for reading xx @Ellie
@kristen
@allexandra1992

I went to see my GP this afternoon and begged her for help. She's written letters to get me. Moved via department of housing.

Hi @PeppiPatty

NEVER feel ashamed for calling the police. If you feel threatened and/or unsafe, it's CRITICAL that you do not hesitate. It's a reflection on the police person who yelled at you, not on you.

Your safety is so important - please stay safe.

@PeppiPatty

Did you see my post above? Please do not hesitate to call the police.

We would prefer you get yelled at than you not calling you putting yourself at risk.

Do not feel ashamed for calling the police. It's their job to keep you safe.

Please take care.

Yeah, i dont think @NikNik but thanks. Im too old to be told all during the Christmas break that im waSting their time thaT they have spoken to him and he told them i was making it up because i have mental health issues and on a large dose of medication. Then no restraining order because hes never hit me..

And he wont go. ..

I get told almost every day that im lazy and im wasting tax payers money. I thought the thing to do is just dissappear but @Troubled_One is right.

When he gets back from work on Monday, i going to tell him.

Hi @PeppiPatty

I'm quite concerned for you at the moment. You don't seem like your usual self.

If you aren't going to call the police, can try something else - Can you tell someone who lives near you what's going on? Can you tell them that on Monday you're going to ask him to leave and tell them you will call them on Monday after you tell him so they know you're safe? Better yet, could someone be there to support you?

Just because someone doesn't hit you, doesn't mean it's not abuse.

1800 RESPECT is a great organisation, and their website has A LOT of resources and information on staying safe. You can find their site here - please have a read and call them - they will give you some practical information on managing this situation.

Thinking of you.

Hi @NikNik

Ive told a few people who live nearby but no no support and one lady says i deserve it..... (public housing has people in who need support not give it )

I have been laughed at by my peers as dont want to say im getting a move.

Just called that place you gave me.

, means so much to me. I feel and have felt quite dead inside for about 3 weeks.

Re: Dealing with a problem creatively

@PeppiPatty I'm sad to read that you have been feeling dead inside

You make all of us feel so loved and supported - I hope we can do the same.

I am so relieved you called the number - keep in contact with them, okay?

And please don't isolate yourself from the Forums - we want you to have somewhere to vent.

Re: Dealing with a problem creatively

I rang a Western Australian domestic violence phone i said to the woman who answered: oh, you seem very young then apologised but she still sounded defensive. I said, Look, i need advice. If your going to keep on sounding defensive after my apology you can ........and hung up on her....

I waited about 15 mins then called again...whaddya know, it was her so i apologised again a couple of times..so she says.....i aknowlege your apology and thank you....i hear that you are apologizing to me........(lol) thank you for your %apology, i can hear you.... (lol)

I said that i was negative and gave her the list of what ive done......

Oh she says, well its your choise not to call the police but the best thing you can do is keep on hassling Department Of Housing. And maybe go to see your member of Parliment in your area.

I asked her if Rouh would help out..........she said she didnt know i said ide been to a talk of theirs and will visit them on monday......

No, I said, i do not have support of help in the cloak of a friend so she suggested i call my son.....but as i forgot his birthday.......hes not answer his phone.....

But yay, i have options now. Also, ask him again to leave and not come back.
