Does anyone else start getting really down in May? As long as I can remember - may is a difficult month for me, long before the Major Depression label. It spirals into slothful living and sleeping the winter away. Even though I love autumn weather, on the inside I just want to go to sleep and bide my time 'till spring comes - when I know i get a burst of energy back. Lots of people suffer SAD, and for some its serious. Its a well documented condition, and in my case compounds existing depression & anxiety, the tipping point. I noticed here on the forums last year that a lot of us struggled to get through winter, even here in mild Australian weather. What, if any are your winter blues symptoms in the winter?

We can't even begin to fill the hole that must be gaping in your heart but we will try to make a sad time for you a little less sorrowful @Former-Member.
That's what I love about the people on this Forum. When one of us is hurting, we all feel a bit of that pain and rally around to do what we can.

Yep, thank you, he's a pretty amazing boy. Thought I heard him a few times come in the back door. I have had a candle going all day today, by my girls photo for both of them.
My son tried to ring 1/2hr ago but I didn't pick up in time. Tried to ring back but no response, sent a text, but no response. Now I'm worried about him.
Having lots of palpitations despite taking it easy. Guess they'll pass.
