Thanks @soul
Things are going ok at the moment.
Had a pretty big melt down when we first got home this afternoon, I felt really bad but it got to the point where I had to say if you don't settle down I am taking you back now, I don't have to put up with this.
Holding my breath at the moment waiting for the next blow up, I think the weekend leave was a mistake and right now am reluctant to bring her home next weekend if it is approved. I just don't have the energy or emotional capacity to deal with it after the last couple of days.
At the same time I want/ need to show her the love and compassion she deserves.

I remember being in the red cross building while hubby was in hospital , the first day that he was allowed out for 4 hours visit , he only lasted a hour and wanted to go back
second time we went to my red cross room which was better

Sitting here trying to work on my Uni assesment, just dont have the capactiy to read or think at the moment 😞 another reason weekend leave was not a good idea, feeling selfish for thinking this but I realy needed the time for myself. Its not like I could say no however when it was already organised. I knew she was going to ask but I was faily confident the doc was going to say no.

So sorry that things have been tough for everyone during this weekend visit. It must be heartbreaking and frustrating. No doubt, things won't be easy when it's time to take your Darling back.
I guess the important thing is that you look at the end goal for this whole treatment situation - a better, calmer and happier life for all the family. So take it one day at a time and probably one hour at a time @Determined.
Hope you'll be able to make some progress towards the assignment. Don't feel guilty for wanting some breathing space. You matter too and have to be in the best possible state in order to continue to be there for your Darling and the kids.

Even though everything seems to be going ok so far today I am not coping, feeling like I am going to fall apart, just want to sit in a corner and cry but dont know how 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Not looking for a pity party, just feeling miserable and needed to get it out. Feel stupid but contemplating calling lifeline or someone when I get home later tonight if I cant get my act together.
