Little people are doing ok @soul , just finished watching 3 episodes of starwars back to back, abit to make some lunch and head of to see my darling. Bub has started searching the house for mummy again. Looking forward to us all being together even if it is only for a short stay
Big boys have just started a (play) light sabre battle, just what I need inside the house lol.

You've survived the morning @Determined- that's something to be pleased about.
Safe driving and I hope the visit is a pleasant one. Listen to some upbeat music in the car and have you got some minty gum or peppermints to chew on to keep you alert?

Just got a call from my darling. She requested and has been granted weekend leave. I get to bring her home first thing in the morning and she has to be back for dinner Sunday night. She sounds so much more happy and relaxed. 😊😊😊😊

Darling just called again, she has seen the dr who brought around the concent form to be signed. Her treatment starts on Monday. Feeling numb.
All this has been arranged before she has spoken to the alternate dr for the second opinion. Just reinforces my opinion that their informed concent process is a crock. Upsets me that I am not allowed to be a part of this process. I have accepted however that we need to try this no matter how hard its for me 😕
Looking forward to better days ahead once this is all over.

Good news aboit the weekend visit @Determined. I hope you all have a lovely time. Make sure you schedule family and couple time.
Treatment on Monday - yikes. I can't believe that you don't get to be involved. That is ludicrous. Did she seem okay with continuing?

She is anxious to have it over and done with @soul she just wants to be well.
I thought it was starting to have doubts which I thought would be treated with caution, instead the process has been moved forward. How does that work??.
Think the doc thinks I am tryi g to talk hef out of it. (She has told him I dont want her to have it) however I have told him that while concerned I am supporting her decision. I think if i could have been included this could have been so much easier for both of us.
I have reluctantly accepted that this is the best and even only option we have left but still scared, numb, lonley etc etc ...... not being alowed yo be there with j makes it so mucb harder.
On our way to visit now ☺

Seems like communication could be improved. Perhaps you'll get to speak to someone from the medical staff whilst you are there.
