Getting the assignment done with all that's been happening is a feat in itself. Your lecturer knows there are mitigating circumstances so perhaps he will be lenient. You need to be gentle with yourself.

Had a talk to our pastor this afternoon while the boys were at youth group. One of the ladies in the church has offered to come clean our house.

It was like wow... really... dont know what to say.

Mum also offered but sister would want to come take over. Maby I just need to move past some things and accept that. (Sister would do it for the ego boost is the problem). Prove to herself she is better than me, dont need that nonsense at the moment even if jt is only my perception.

Im am around half way through my course I think.

This will be my third year (fourth year including the tertiary entrence course that I did). Have mostly done 50% load, 2 semesters of 75% load but that did not go so well with my stress levels.

Next semester I am considering 25% load.

I tried full load last semester and crashed in a big way, part of the reason my darling fell apart because she can not cope when I am not on top of things.

That is so sweet. How fortunate you are that there are kind people in your community. As for family - yeah that can be quite tricky to navigate at times. You certainly don't need judgemental crap. Swallow your pride and accept help. There's no shame in admitting that you are doing it tough at the moment. Can you get your assignment work done whilst the boys are around? Can your Mum or MIL look after them for a bit?

Good on you for persevering in your course. When you're three quarters through you'll be able to see the finish line. Of course it a case of what happens after that. But just take things one step at a time @Determined

S2 going birthday shopping with mil in the morning (yearly ritual) , hoping s1 and bub can go across when they get back. Bub is no truble really but he is tearing the house apart unsupervised. Part of the reason the place is such a mess. Cant hurt himself of wreck anything, just crap everywhere but where it needs to be. Books, washing, toys, etc...

It's been a while since I've been at uni but I'm always interested in learning new things. Isn't the internet the most wonderful thing? Your boys won't know a world that existed without it. Do they play any sports?

I remember that stage. The house is like a mine field, stepping over Lego, toy cars, books, you name it. Not sure that the teenage years are any better. It's just that the mess is more confined to their rooms.
