Is that kind of reaction of aloofness typical? Although you did mention that she was affectionate towards the kids. Does she have counselling sessions whilst she is there? Good that her depression has subsided somewhat but not good if other problems have arisen.

So it's a wait and see about weekend leave. Is that a good or bad thing? How do you feel about that? How will the boys feel?

There will be a review of further treatments on Tuesday @soul. Possibly more to come. (I hope not 😟). Needs to be in min 1 week after last treatment (as I undersrand it) to sort new meds out. She is pestering to be let out early but I will be resistng this time. Was let out far too early last time and I didnt have the heart to refuse to bring her home.

I agree that you want the best possible outcome after this treatment regime so don't be rushing to get her back home if that will hinder the end result @Determined. Surely it would be best to sit down with the medical team and discuss this fully?

Part of me hopes she doesn't come home for the weekend @soul. Boys will be disappointed but I have so much work to get done and it cant be done if I am worrying about my darling or sulking because she is cold. 😞
I didnt feel free to mention the alooftness in front of my darling as I didnt want to upset her. Have not mentioned it to her at all so far. No point in councilling sessions at the moment due to how scatted she is. She woild not remember or take anything in anyway.
Yes it is great that the depression has cleared but at what cost.... just really trusting that negative aspects are temporary.

Definatly aiming to be included in the discharge process this time @soul, will be formulating a list of queustions before this and having a written checklist with me.

Seems like you could really use the break but are concerned that the boys will be upset if Mum isn't home. A difficult situation to weigh up. I guess you need to see what her demeanour is tomorrow and then a decision will be made based on that. Once made, whichever it is, focus on making the best of that choice. If she stays in hospital, try to spend some quality time with the kids but make sure you also have ample opportunity to do some of that uni work as well. If your Darling does come home, again do what you can to make the visit pleasant but don't take any criticism or cool response too personally. You have previously stated that you have been able to separate the behaviour from the person.
Hopefully this new problem is short lived and you will all be able to continue life in a better manner than before.

Morning @soul
Seems I drifted off mid conversation and mid sentence last night. Sorry about that. Thankyou for chatting last night,
Woke up to a dreary grey morning and a splitting headache here.
Trust all is as well as can be for you at the moment.

No probs @Determined. Take some Painkillers and drink lots of fluid. When the weather is cooler we tend to drink less and get dehydrated - a prime cause of headaches. Of course, stress doesn't help either. Hope your day becomes brighter and things get sorted out regarding what's happening over the weekend for you.
How's that assignment going? I'm off on my walk now. Chat later.

I have talked to my darling and told her I would not be down tonight which went better than expected 😊 Also spoke to both mums and asked if they could be too busy if they get a phone call for a ride home.
She is still not feeling right this morning so there is a chance that the dr will keep her in anyway .
