The Weekly Friday Feast

how is everybody? i was busy today getting mums room ready to paint, did all the plastering, ready for painting tomorrow.

It is stil so hot here, a salad is so nice tonight. pretty low week, but their have been some ups.

Tonight's dinner - pesto fettucine. My husband and daughter cooked dinner. Actually I haven't cooked dinner for the last 2 nights. My son has been fantastic in helping with cooking dinner.

I've had a really emotionally tough week. Tonight I am going to movies with a close friend. Might have to have a choc top ice cream!!!

More pasta is great! Glad Jacques bought some salad to balance out our pasta craving tonight. Jacques, I'm glad that you have some good among the low times. Tell us about your week if you?

@BlueBay I love getting choc-tops at the movies. It doesn't feel the same if you don't get one. What movie are you watching tonight?

I am so sorry to hear your week has been so tough, keep strong, i am glad you are going out with some friend, oh yes, either choc top or popcorn 😄

I have craved pasta all week @CherryBomb and was so glad that's what I had. I am going to watch 'How to be Single'. And yes chocolate choc top ice cream. As long as I don't fall to sleep I will be right. 🙂

Well i have been sleeping so much, very depressed, worrying about what to expect with my aunt moving in, i have done some work on the house through the week, the shed i installed a wall mounted computer and speakers.

i have started working on mums room, it is so nice to see progress on the house, i have been at a stand still because i am waiting for tradies.

i am having some mind blanks, struggling to talk to others, The anxiety is really high this week, i know i can't speak of some of the stuff i have been doing to myself, it is so out of control now.

@BlueBay I watched that a few weeks back. I really enjoyed it, and the choc top. The movie was pretty funny.

@Jacques it has been a tough week for you. You got through it, with some good bits. It seems like you've gotten a lot of work done on the house. I know that your aunt moving in is a big and challenging change for you. It might take some adjustment, and I wonder if this is part of the reason you're feeling tired. For now, focus on what you need to do for you, care for you as your would a best friend. I'm glad you're here tonight.

We had an amazing storm here in the Bluey's. I love watching a storm roll in with all its glory and thunder. It's pretty cool at the moment. The days are also getting shorter. I can't believe we're in autum already. Summer went by too quickly.

OMG i have not had fairy bread in years, good old memories of birthdays, i loved the sugary crunch of the little beads.
