14th year house bound

14th year house bound

Hi Everyone,

I am new hear, after being removed from other mental health forums for my depressive thoughts i thought i would give this forum a try, this is my story.

I am 33 live with my mother, i am almost compeatly housebound, i leave my house once in the morning for a walk at 6am and maybe once during the week, both times i leave the house fill me with great anxiety, i have no friends, (the last friend i had was in 2001), i have never had a job, never had a girlfriend and never been able to leave my parents side, my father died in 2001 and i have always suffered seperation anxiety the last time i had a night away from home was 1994 for one night (parents had to pick me up at midnight because i was so frantic).

I have spent most of the past 14 years in my room, or the shed, never much out of the yard, no one in my town knows me, people stare and ask each other behind my back if any one knows who i am.

I have only had an income for the past year and spend the previous 7 with no income at all, mum had to use all of her life savings to allow me to live with her and she now has nothing.

I only want to live long enough to care for her in her old age and then i plan to take my own life, i knew from an early age my life would turn out like this, but had no idea how horrible it would be, every day is the same, i often wonder why i keep going, i have very little contact with family (maybe once a year) and i am really struggling to keep going.

Please don't feel distressed about what i am saying, and i am so sorry if i have offended anyone, it is just how i feel.

Their is so much more, but i will leave it at that for the moment, i am shaking and the anxiety is kicking in so thankyou for reading and i will add more later.

Jacques

Re: 14th year house bound

Well My Angel, i am finally relaxing, listening to the sheep and the cows, the chickens have gone to bed as well as the rooster.

when i was having lunch i was sitting out the back of my house, i was watering the garden and the little birds were playing in the sprinkers, they were having such a wonderful time, when i turned one lot of sprays off and the next ones on they just followed the water.

the pig was a mess of mud, she was covered in mud from head to toe, proud of her achievements at digging yet another hole, they are everywhere it looks like a war zone, pot holes everywhere.

still no sign of my porchalacas, i think i may have none out of 3,000 seeds, i don't know where i went wrong, i am going to give it another week then i might have to buy some established ones.

still no sign of the frogs either, i hope they come back this year, i already miss them.

i hope me talking is not irritating you, i just thought it might be a nice destraction for you.

i am here my angel

With all the extra driving yesterday and the report etc ..it would knock anybody out of action for a while. Just keep checking in. Ride the waves and surges of feeling but keep checking in with us. We do care. Maybe cant be proctical help .. but I am sending you hugs

And dont we just adore @Jacques talking aloud. It is music .. with lovely blue Muddy Waters notes.

Well Karen and I are not the only ones on the forum who appreciate your pics and stories about farm and renovating life. It keeps us grounded and back to basics. Nothing to be embarrassed about. I no longer can renovate and havent been on a farm for a very long time. Dont stop.

No problem my angel,

i just hope it works out for you, and i understand, i thought you would be really tired with being up all night, i hope she is feeling better, and i hope you all get some rest tonight.

it probably would be best just missing today and taking it tomorrow, thats what i do.

please don't apologise, i totally understand, i am thinking of you, i hope your little one gets better soon
