14th year house bound

14th year house bound

Hi Everyone,

I am new hear, after being removed from other mental health forums for my depressive thoughts i thought i would give this forum a try, this is my story.

I am 33 live with my mother, i am almost compeatly housebound, i leave my house once in the morning for a walk at 6am and maybe once during the week, both times i leave the house fill me with great anxiety, i have no friends, (the last friend i had was in 2001), i have never had a job, never had a girlfriend and never been able to leave my parents side, my father died in 2001 and i have always suffered seperation anxiety the last time i had a night away from home was 1994 for one night (parents had to pick me up at midnight because i was so frantic).

I have spent most of the past 14 years in my room, or the shed, never much out of the yard, no one in my town knows me, people stare and ask each other behind my back if any one knows who i am.

I have only had an income for the past year and spend the previous 7 with no income at all, mum had to use all of her life savings to allow me to live with her and she now has nothing.

I only want to live long enough to care for her in her old age and then i plan to take my own life, i knew from an early age my life would turn out like this, but had no idea how horrible it would be, every day is the same, i often wonder why i keep going, i have very little contact with family (maybe once a year) and i am really struggling to keep going.

Please don't feel distressed about what i am saying, and i am so sorry if i have offended anyone, it is just how i feel.

Their is so much more, but i will leave it at that for the moment, i am shaking and the anxiety is kicking in so thankyou for reading and i will add more later.

Jacques

That's great Jacques you are serenaded every time your in the bathroom that's awesome.

OhJacques you are the smart one, you know all about computers, you cook, clean, all while renovating a house and doing major work in the garden. I forgot you even cut hair. Now mechanic.... you have so much to offer.

Re: 14th year house bound

lol that is one way of looking at it, i often wonder if they are getting angry at me wofor turning the water on , they seem to be everywhere since the rain, i can't wait to get the pond, it seems to be taking forever to get, but their is so much that needs doing to the house, it is way down the list.

Oh Karen, you do these things too, you have learned how to use a computer by yourself, you have to be pretty smart to master it so quickly. Karen you have great qualities, one day we will talk on here and write down our own qualities. Karen you have still so much to give and to be given, your loving, caring nature, your vast array of knowledge. Karen you must see these things? you are amazing.

Jacques I've used wynnes products before they have been around for a very long time.nulon is good too. I would go with the cheaper one. But that's just me.

Thank you so much Karen, where would i be without you. i was seriously considering using water and degreaser. i think that may have caused more problems. your idea is much better.

Morning my angel,

No it is overcast and muggy, but still better than 40 degree's so i will nto complain.

I hope you are able to get the girls out side today to play and have fun.

Ah the bike, well i can't work on it because i broke the socket i need to pull the head apart, the socket just shattered yesterday afternoon, os i have to wait until my sunday drive to get another one.

I so wish you could help me, i am not very good at mechanic's, i think the term is "flying by the seat of my pants" , but i will persevere and get it done.

Take care my angel, i am having another quiet day, so i will be online most of the day.
