14th year house bound

14th year house bound

Hi Everyone,

I am new hear, after being removed from other mental health forums for my depressive thoughts i thought i would give this forum a try, this is my story.

I am 33 live with my mother, i am almost compeatly housebound, i leave my house once in the morning for a walk at 6am and maybe once during the week, both times i leave the house fill me with great anxiety, i have no friends, (the last friend i had was in 2001), i have never had a job, never had a girlfriend and never been able to leave my parents side, my father died in 2001 and i have always suffered seperation anxiety the last time i had a night away from home was 1994 for one night (parents had to pick me up at midnight because i was so frantic).

I have spent most of the past 14 years in my room, or the shed, never much out of the yard, no one in my town knows me, people stare and ask each other behind my back if any one knows who i am.

I have only had an income for the past year and spend the previous 7 with no income at all, mum had to use all of her life savings to allow me to live with her and she now has nothing.

I only want to live long enough to care for her in her old age and then i plan to take my own life, i knew from an early age my life would turn out like this, but had no idea how horrible it would be, every day is the same, i often wonder why i keep going, i have very little contact with family (maybe once a year) and i am really struggling to keep going.

Please don't feel distressed about what i am saying, and i am so sorry if i have offended anyone, it is just how i feel.

Their is so much more, but i will leave it at that for the moment, i am shaking and the anxiety is kicking in so thankyou for reading and i will add more later.

Jacques

OMG Karen, i was too, trying to keep the weeds under control along the foot path.

Yes i have the fan going here tonight. i hope it cools off later tonight.

i love telling you about the animals, bye the sounds of it a little lamb is lost in another paddock, i can hear him baaring, silly little things, this happens most days, they get adventurious and get into another paddock because they are so small.

I went to the wetlands on sunday, their are so many geese their are about 26 of them, they have 3 little islands, and they come running up to the car when you go their, some people buy bags of grain to give them, some families even bring out leafs of bread to give them. they are fat as seals!!!!!!!!!!

I love sandalwood it's my favorite.

I even use sandalwood soap so I smell nice all the time.

I ended up at the river today and watched people feeding bread to the ducks.

OMG My angel i didn't know you could get sandlewood soap, oh i bet it smells so nice on the skin. i use shower gel, i just find it easier to use, but they don't make sandlewood ones.

Oh Karen that must have been so beautiful, the little ducks, where their any ducklings?

Re: 14th year house bound

I get it from Coles, it's the most beautiful smell. At least I know I smell clean.

No ducklings today.

The ducks and duckling haven't been coming to the house there has been a cat hanging around the garden.

Thank you for supporting me tonight Jacques

Re: 14th year house bound

I did not know you could get such things at coles, i thought you would have to go to a butique or something.

Oh what a shame yes the ducks will have to be careful if their is a cat about.

Karen it is my pleaseure to speak with you, i really miss when we don't talk, i don't have anyone else, so it is nice to have someone to speak to through the day.

Karen i am always here, no matter how you are feeling, i am happy to talk all the time. all you have to do is reach out.

I would love to see your roses Jacques:-)

I wear essential oil I find it overpowers other triggering smells. Also to help with flashbacks.
