14th year house bound

14th year house bound

Hi Everyone,

I am new hear, after being removed from other mental health forums for my depressive thoughts i thought i would give this forum a try, this is my story.

I am 33 live with my mother, i am almost compeatly housebound, i leave my house once in the morning for a walk at 6am and maybe once during the week, both times i leave the house fill me with great anxiety, i have no friends, (the last friend i had was in 2001), i have never had a job, never had a girlfriend and never been able to leave my parents side, my father died in 2001 and i have always suffered seperation anxiety the last time i had a night away from home was 1994 for one night (parents had to pick me up at midnight because i was so frantic).

I have spent most of the past 14 years in my room, or the shed, never much out of the yard, no one in my town knows me, people stare and ask each other behind my back if any one knows who i am.

I have only had an income for the past year and spend the previous 7 with no income at all, mum had to use all of her life savings to allow me to live with her and she now has nothing.

I only want to live long enough to care for her in her old age and then i plan to take my own life, i knew from an early age my life would turn out like this, but had no idea how horrible it would be, every day is the same, i often wonder why i keep going, i have very little contact with family (maybe once a year) and i am really struggling to keep going.

Please don't feel distressed about what i am saying, and i am so sorry if i have offended anyone, it is just how i feel.

Their is so much more, but i will leave it at that for the moment, i am shaking and the anxiety is kicking in so thankyou for reading and i will add more later.

Jacques

I was in a really bad way last night Karen, Thank you so much for being with me and talking me through it, i was really struggling.

Karen it is ok to take a break you know, not everything needs to be done all at once. i am sitting beside you Karen, listening to the running water, i can smell it, and hear it Karen, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place with me.

Re: 14th year house bound

I'm glad I could support you last night j. I think Cherry Bomb helped a lot too.

So now you have an idea where my house is. I hope that makes you feel a bit closer.

I have to pick the girls up at 1.00 to go to the psychologist.

My eye's are really bad today all I want to do is close them.

Jacques it's my fault for drinking to many sugary drinks, I'm responsible for my actions not you.

Giving them up is something I've wanted to do for a long time.

Anyway I'm thinking it's the medication that's causing it.

Just have to see.

I took the girls to the house this morning but unfortunately the ducks weren't there.

The girls did have a game of chasey inside they had fun.

What are you up to j hopefully resting you must be exhausted

What a shame, at least the girls had fun.

Karen mum has taken me out today, she was worried about me and thought I needed some time away from home. I am shaking so bad but I did need to get out.

I hope the girls appointment goes well. You are a good mum Karen. I will keep reminding you until you believe it.

Oh Jacques that sounds like the perfect day. Your mum is wonderful. Give her a big hug from me.

It's awesome that you managed going to the zoo!!!

I bet you enjoyed the coffee.

I have always wanted to take the girls to the zoo. It's just too much for me, the crowds and all the people I don't know how you did it.

I hope you've had a hot shower.

I'm so jealous I would love to have been there with you to see the animals.

Hi my angel,

she is really good to me, I am so lucky to have her in my life.

I did enjoy the coffee it was really nice, we had it in the car so i could cope.

Well the zoo was nice, their was only about 3 families their having lunch, not school hollidays and a weekday it is quiet, maybe one day Karen we could meet in real life and i could take you to the zoo, it is fantastic.

Yes Karen i have had a hot shower, i so wish you could have been with me you would have coped fine, maybe you could take the girls to the zoo one day before or after their appointments.

It was shaking so bad Karen, not from the crowds but from the depression and anxiety, i could not relax, but it was a special day
