14th year house bound

14th year house bound

Hi Everyone,

I am new hear, after being removed from other mental health forums for my depressive thoughts i thought i would give this forum a try, this is my story.

I am 33 live with my mother, i am almost compeatly housebound, i leave my house once in the morning for a walk at 6am and maybe once during the week, both times i leave the house fill me with great anxiety, i have no friends, (the last friend i had was in 2001), i have never had a job, never had a girlfriend and never been able to leave my parents side, my father died in 2001 and i have always suffered seperation anxiety the last time i had a night away from home was 1994 for one night (parents had to pick me up at midnight because i was so frantic).

I have spent most of the past 14 years in my room, or the shed, never much out of the yard, no one in my town knows me, people stare and ask each other behind my back if any one knows who i am.

I have only had an income for the past year and spend the previous 7 with no income at all, mum had to use all of her life savings to allow me to live with her and she now has nothing.

I only want to live long enough to care for her in her old age and then i plan to take my own life, i knew from an early age my life would turn out like this, but had no idea how horrible it would be, every day is the same, i often wonder why i keep going, i have very little contact with family (maybe once a year) and i am really struggling to keep going.

Please don't feel distressed about what i am saying, and i am so sorry if i have offended anyone, it is just how i feel.

Their is so much more, but i will leave it at that for the moment, i am shaking and the anxiety is kicking in so thankyou for reading and i will add more later.

Jacques

Hi Jacques

I look forward to your picture when I can see it.

I'm sorry you had to run into someone again. The people in my town think I'm a snob and rude because I cannot make eye contact or speak to them. But that is their problem I try not to let it get me down.

I would like to spend the day in the car. I miss my time spent by the river in the car.

Do something nice for yourself Jacques it's been a tough day.

Thinking of you

Karen

Hi Karen, i hopee they approve the pic, it is just a general pic of the town, from the council web site.

I know Karen, it is so un-nerving and makes me so down to know how bad i have become.

I wish you could, i know how safe you feel in the car.

How has your day bee nmy angel, i hope you are ok, you sound a little flat?

Re: 14th year house bound

Jacques you know me too well.

I am very low and in a dark place the thoughts are just awful.

I am exhausted but can't sleep.

Not sure why I'm so overwhelmed, I'm such a bad person for having thoughts like this.

Karen i know the feeling, i have bee nlike this all week, so tired, can't sleep, awful thoughts, what are you doing to distract?

Karen you are not a bad person for having thoughts, you need to fight not to act on them, i know why you are so overwhelmed, you have had such a traumatic 3 weeks, the holliday, the decision on the MHU, Karen you are worn out, you need to take some time to recoop, some time to rest.

Is their anything a tall slightly obese SNAG can do to help?

Sorry things are so hard Karen, I'm in the same darkness, no lights to be seen. It's really quiet here tonight but inside my head it's far too loud. I keep telling myself just to wait until... Until until

Re: 14th year house bound

Karen you can't bring me down, please say what you are feeling, or if you want something else.

Karen you can't let go, i need you, we need each other.

Karen you deserved to be loved and cared for, you have had such a hard life, you have your two girls who love you very much, and i care for you so much Karen, you are not alone, don't allow your thoughts to win.

I am so sorry i was not their for you today. I wish i could be their with you, telling you in person it will be alright.

That is the wetlands, a small reserve, but the river that runs a block away from me is called the McQuarrie River.
