14th year house bound

14th year house bound

Hi Everyone,

I am new hear, after being removed from other mental health forums for my depressive thoughts i thought i would give this forum a try, this is my story.

I am 33 live with my mother, i am almost compeatly housebound, i leave my house once in the morning for a walk at 6am and maybe once during the week, both times i leave the house fill me with great anxiety, i have no friends, (the last friend i had was in 2001), i have never had a job, never had a girlfriend and never been able to leave my parents side, my father died in 2001 and i have always suffered seperation anxiety the last time i had a night away from home was 1994 for one night (parents had to pick me up at midnight because i was so frantic).

I have spent most of the past 14 years in my room, or the shed, never much out of the yard, no one in my town knows me, people stare and ask each other behind my back if any one knows who i am.

I have only had an income for the past year and spend the previous 7 with no income at all, mum had to use all of her life savings to allow me to live with her and she now has nothing.

I only want to live long enough to care for her in her old age and then i plan to take my own life, i knew from an early age my life would turn out like this, but had no idea how horrible it would be, every day is the same, i often wonder why i keep going, i have very little contact with family (maybe once a year) and i am really struggling to keep going.

Please don't feel distressed about what i am saying, and i am so sorry if i have offended anyone, it is just how i feel.

Their is so much more, but i will leave it at that for the moment, i am shaking and the anxiety is kicking in so thankyou for reading and i will add more later.

Jacques

Karen knowing you are going to have an early night makes me so happy, i am really worried you are way too stressed, you are going to over do it if you push any harder.

Please rest up my friend, i will be fine, i will distract with music movies and mandala.

Karen just having you with me is enough, i know you are safe which helps greatly, i could not bear to lose you. Karen, stay safe, if you can't sleep i will be here till 11pm, i really hope you get a good nights sleep you so need it.

Hang in their my friend, i am with you.

Good night

Jacques

I'm so glad you have a plan to distract tonight Jacques. I worry about you, I know what darkness looks like.

I care so much about you Jacques.

You are closer to me than my family and you know me better than anyone. It is a true privileged to have you as my friend.

Karen what are your plans for distraction if you can't sleep?

Me too Karen, you know me better than family, i am closer to you than i have been to anyone in my entire life, i feel like you are my sister, you care for me so much as do i for you.

Karen i worry so much about you, your moods, your physical conditions, your reactions to people, they all remind me of myself, you are like the female version of me.

when you hurt i hurt, when you are happy so am i, you are a wonderful person Karen, i don't care what anyone else says, please remember this, i so enjoyed last week when you where saying such nice things about your self, and getting your hait cut, i was speechless, you can shock and suprise me KAren, like no one else i know.

You are so precious to me, Thank you

Hi welcome to the forum, it sounds like youre in a lot of pain, emotionally and physically. it is great that you had the support of 2 loving parents. It can be very isolating to feel stuck. Are you linked in any support services? you can also call the SANE helpline if you feel you need support. It is extremely difficult when your life goes a different way than you planned. perhaps with the support and your inner strength which is there somewhereyou can find your pathway again
