14th year house bound

14th year house bound

Hi Everyone,

I am new hear, after being removed from other mental health forums for my depressive thoughts i thought i would give this forum a try, this is my story.

I am 33 live with my mother, i am almost compeatly housebound, i leave my house once in the morning for a walk at 6am and maybe once during the week, both times i leave the house fill me with great anxiety, i have no friends, (the last friend i had was in 2001), i have never had a job, never had a girlfriend and never been able to leave my parents side, my father died in 2001 and i have always suffered seperation anxiety the last time i had a night away from home was 1994 for one night (parents had to pick me up at midnight because i was so frantic).

I have spent most of the past 14 years in my room, or the shed, never much out of the yard, no one in my town knows me, people stare and ask each other behind my back if any one knows who i am.

I have only had an income for the past year and spend the previous 7 with no income at all, mum had to use all of her life savings to allow me to live with her and she now has nothing.

I only want to live long enough to care for her in her old age and then i plan to take my own life, i knew from an early age my life would turn out like this, but had no idea how horrible it would be, every day is the same, i often wonder why i keep going, i have very little contact with family (maybe once a year) and i am really struggling to keep going.

Please don't feel distressed about what i am saying, and i am so sorry if i have offended anyone, it is just how i feel.

Their is so much more, but i will leave it at that for the moment, i am shaking and the anxiety is kicking in so thankyou for reading and i will add more later.

Jacques

Hi my angel,

Well you made it through another night, I am so proud of you for fighting so valiantly you are an inspiration for me and others with PTSD, not many people could do what you are doing.

I hope today you make some more wonderful memories, like the hatching yesterday.

Take care my angel, my thoughts are with you.

OMG Karen i love Jalsberg cheese, mum and i have it on birthdays and new years, any special occasion, i can't get enough of it!!!!!!!

Karen please do download these apps, they will help you get through the long nights, if you need a hand downloading them just ask i will show you step by step.

they are all good apps, i have them on my samsung phone, beside my bed, so when i wake up of a night in a panic, i can switch it on, put on the relaxing music and do some mandala, it is an excellent destraction, make sure you download them for tonight.

Yes it was sunny, it is becomming overcast now, i spent the morning fitting a new door for the laundry, all the locks are cut out, so are the hines, i have apinted 1 sie, i will do the other through the week.

Wow the colour sounds close to the one i am painting my house. it sounds nice.

Karen i hope today you find some way to distract yourself, i am here if you need support, you have made it through another day, just keep counting down the days, that is what i did.

You are doing extremely well Karen, under the curcumstances, you should be proud of you achievements so far, i could not do what you are doing.

Take care my angel, hold jasper, hiddenite and angelite close, draw from their power, you are strong, you are smart, you are caring.

Hi Karen,
Well my day out has been a disaster, I saw someone from hight school, he recognised me and wanted to chat, I was so terrified, in such a panicked state, I could barely speak, then he said he will stop in to see me sometime. I am so scared now, God I wish I could live somewhere else, somewhere where no one knows me or recognises me. My hands are shaking, I feel like throwing up, I am in a daze. I am going to be in a panic all night now, just because someone I used to know wanted to say hello.

Hi Karen,

Sorry i will be no support for you tonight, i am unable to help myself, i hate where i live so much, too many bad memories, to many people know me, so humiliated, so depressed, so hate myself right now.

i hope you will be ok Karen, i am so sorry.

i have tried everything, nothing is working, i can't drown out the voices in my head, how can 30 seconds ruin my day, so pathetic, so useless, so hate myself right now.

Re: 14th year house bound

I'm still here I thought I would tell you about my day, good distraction.

The girls and I have been playing manopaly it taken us hours and they still haven't finished I ended up bankrupt, they are very competitive. So we've put it aside to finish tomorrow. They had so much fun and it was great for them to use their maths.

The sun came out this afternoon so we went to the beach.

We made a sand castle princess theme. 79 sand castles later an in ground swimming pool a moat and a hole big enough for the two of them to stand in. There was lots of designing with shells and different colored sea weed. We filled the moat and swimming pool with water and then they asked me to bury them in the hole.

The girls had a great time even managed a paddle in the water.

We also went for a walk on the beach to look at the rock pools.

Now Jacques I've distracted you for 5 minutes, I want you to remember that you are a wonderful, thoughtful, kind , considerate, gentle person. I am so privileged to know you.

Yes today was a challenge but tomorrow is a new day.

Sending you hugs my friend

Stay safe

Karen
