So I arrived here at midday today. Feeling a bit lost. Everything is so ... strange. Not sure what to do now. Starting to get a bit anxious. A bit teary. Trying hard not to think, or to feel. Wishing I had a bourbon or some chips or junk food. Something to keep me busy and not feeling.
Hi @utopia - I took this picture last year on a beach with no one else around and I like to look at it in stressful times. It reminds me that no matter what happens there will still be a sunrise and I'm ultimately in control of my own mind. You have lots of support here - just ask. We're all here for you.....

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope. Thank you @oceangirl. That image is a place I would be happy to travel to. @Former-Member. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photo and what it represents for you. I am feeling better about going home tomorrow. And I love watching the sunrise and sunset from my backyard.

Re: My Hospital Stay
Day 10 - part 2. So it's the night before I leave hospital. I remember at this point when I was in hospital last year - that I was freaking out and having anxiety attacks and needed a very high dosage of a prn to calm me down. I haven't felt that at all today. There is some fear, some trepidation about how I will go at home. That - will I fall back into old patterns - can I keep this new sleep routine - will I find the boredom at home to hard - etc. But even though I have those thoughts - they aren't too strong - I can cope with them. I have left a message on my psychologists ph - to say I'm coming home tomorrow and could he please fit me in for a visit - so I have some type of psych support the first week. I plan to contact a mental health support and social group - GROW -who are in a town near me & at least talk to them and find out mire about the group - to see if it is something that I would be comfortable with. I expect there may be a few up and down roller coaster emotions tomorrow and over the next few weeks, while I try and implement some self care tools that will keep leading me to a better outlook and to a healthier life. So, on this more positive post - I say goodnight. As I snuggle down and sleep in this bed for the last time. A peaceful sleep for all. ♥♥
