What's your favourite craft? Is there anything you're working on at the moment? What would you like to create/work on (I have heaps of "one day" project patterns and ideas that I know I will probably never get around to, but it's nice to imagine)? I'd love to hear!
I have absolutely no artistic side to me and stick figures are the extent of my drawing ability, but I really enjoy learning and trying out new crafts. I learnt crochet during a stay in a prevention and recovery centre and it's something I pick up often when I am feeling blue, I need a distraction or I'm just a little bored. I've tried paper crafts too, although I didn't really get far with anything. Sharpies are some of my best friends and when I find my hands need to move I have a collection of smooth rocks that I draw on (different coloured circles) which often relaxes me. Sometimes I dust off the sewing machine and sew as well. I walk around spotlight for a fun outing 😉

Yep so far ive done 20 of these squares but ill need quite abit more yet. I might make 30 and lay them out and see how it would look. Hows yours coming along? @Maggie

@Gazza75 that owl is awesome!!! Definitely my favourite diamond pic I've seen so far. Looks big and tricky though.
The video link you sent was great and super helpful thanks. I enjoyed watching it. You can sense her enthusiasm through the video which was almost catchy enough to have me try it! I also went to Spotlight and bought Middle a little painting. It's a pack of three magnets and was on clearance (always a fan of that). And I spent about 2 mins in the store and didn't pick up anything else - yay me haha!
@outlander your squares look great! Love, love, love those colours together and can see how beautiful it will look once it's finished. Do you make one who square at a time or do you make a bunch of the centres, then add the middles etc.?
I managed to fly through my Sophie centre take two and have almost finished it. Just have the overlay petals to put on. I'm much happier with the colours of this one. I'll put up a pic when I'm done 🙂
