mental health pets

mental health pets

Hi everyone. New on here.I have bipolar2 borderline personality ADHD depression anxiety fibromyalgia and bge eating disorder. I really find my pets help keep me calm. I take them everywhere I can but I'd like to register a service animal so I can have them on Me 98% of the time. Has anyone had any experience with this?

That’s ok. I understand that. As I said no pressure but I’m here for you. @MissGremlin I wish I could help you. I’d love to talk and be able to understand and support you.

I get the keep going as you need to or everything comes crashing down. The need to keep going to stop the crying.

Im sorry you are going through it again.

I have noticed that. You check in on everyone and no one checks in on you. I use to have friends to but don’t anymore. I really only had tyme and jynx until you came along. That’s when they actually had more time to chat last year. And no tyme is gone I’m absolutely devastated and can’t believe she didn’t say good bye!

Also apparently the group tagging is working now. I got an email from the tech team saying they had fixed it.

It’s ok and I respect that @MissGremlin Im an open book but I don’t have any skeletons in my closet.

It would be hard going it alone especially if they are all going to be contacted. That would feel unsafe in itself. Especially the mental health team say you weren’t discharged. Is your friend good in this situation? Or you can’t talk to her about it?

It’s good to support others but it’s nice to receive some care yourself. Well done on stepping away and putting yourself first. You need to focus on you.

I don’t get tagged in anything so I won’t really notice. I don’t like being tagged in the coffee and chats ones. I don’t like how one member tags me in this that are irrelevant outrage people I don’t even know into my thread. New members and stuff. They also tagged a moderator when I posted in something they asked me. Each time it’s been ‘I didn’t mean to’ but you have to actually press the @ and write names. Anyway that’s my vent! Cause I can and no one can see it!

I think we should keep this thread. We can say a lot more and still be active or in your case semi active on our threads! I think you should keep your thread and only talk general stuff. So it doesn’t look as though they have won. Just thinking out loud.

I’m glad she is with you through it all and was last time so she knows what to kind of expect. I really hope the situation can be sorted easily and quickly for you. Especially without the courts. @MissGremlin

It’s ok to lay low on here and on the group. Post when you are ready. I left for a week or more ages ago and the only one that had checked on me was tyme. None of my other ‘friends’ did. It really hurt. So now I stick to myself mostly but now I’ve met you that has been really good. So far I haven’t pushed you away like I did the others. I think they got sick of how down I get but I do try. I see my psychologist and work with her to better myself. I tell her everything that has been going on and I try her suggestions. Sometimes they work and other times they don’t. The others would always hold back and never do or should I say try what was suggested. They are just stuck in a circle with a heap of supports and not getting anywhere. Yes I’m in a rough patch right now but I have been in better patches and worse patches but I try. I just sit and not try when that is what is needed.

Sorry. More venting! I couldn’t write this in my thread as they read it!

As I am with you @MissGremlin Im here through all of this.

I have been thinking all day of finding you somewhere that is safeish. Then I came up with this idea but then wondered if it was even possible. You have exhausted me! 😂

My washing is nearly finished! Yay! Then I’m going to go to bed. My eyes are hanging out of my head! Are you getting tired yet?

Hey @Bow

Hows the trip going? Are you coping?

I really do hope things are going well for you and you are creating memories.

Also how did you find this?

I was just reading back to see if we said anything that stalkers would see but then I read the part about support.

I 100% wasn’t talking about you! You don’t really have any support. It’s always changing and you have no consistency with a team. Of course you struggle having to share all the time and stuff that would be impossible to share and then knowing you will have to do it all again anyway. Trust needs to be built but if I was in your situation I would never trust anyone! You get to trust them and they get ripped away. Plus with your trauma history I don’t know how anyone could work through that. Yes, I have trauma but nowhere near your extent. I only trusted my psych straight up because we met in hospital and she was my facilitator. So I got to know her in a vulnerable setting.
