Re: Complex PTSD - Depression - Anxiety - ADD - Fibro Myalgia/Chronic Fatigue - How do you "get over it"?

@Former-Memberand @CheerBear @Former-Member

AJ - Hello there 🙂 hope you and the little one are doing good today and you are staying around ok. I have had a pretty good day, been fairly productive in my study stuff, sometimes though I wonder why I'm putting myself through it, it's so stressfull in some ways.

Cheery - hope you have found that rainbow and are sliding down it ... and all your cleaning and organising for school start has paid off and relieved a bit of tension.

lil-cat - sometimes others don't understand what's going on with us, because they just can't, and sadly we just have to accept that.

we were at a family function and everything i said was wrong and nothing i did was right and my sister kept being mean to me and i tried to get out of the situation so i sat back abit further and just played on my phone and i couldnt even do that right but i wasnt to be included in the conversation and they were all having a good laugh and talk. it was ok to start with like 10 minutes into it and then it just went down hil further and further
I tried to just take a breather but not make it obvious so just sat back abit more @Spookytookims

Then stop being a "maid"... @Former-Member humnan nature is .. if you keep doing it they will expect it, so if you don't want to do it, stop doing it, or do less of it. Draw a line in the sand. We all have to set our borders, we set how we want to be treated and others need to respect that.

Unless you have some kind of "deal" that you are supposed to do that stuff to pay rent or something, then that's a different situation.

good Job on the study and mammoth effort with Easter cheer @Spookytookims. I think it made a difference to lots of us that you did that.

Keep going @Former-Member. One day at a time.

Also good job on getting through Easter @Former-Member. I'm glad your little man was well for it.

A big weekend done and dusted @CheerBear. Your getting their one step at a time even if you don't feel it yet. Sending loads of best wishes for the week ahead. I know it's a tough one

@Former-Member wooo hoo I do love seeing your purple flower appearing! I know you have your struggles so I don't do shout outs to you because I do feel you will appear when you are ready and feeling up to it. But do know I think about you a lot and really do look for that lovely flower.

Thank you re the easter cheer too. 🙂 appreciate it.

@Former-Member I don't think that's true. They probably just are as lost as you are. They probably just don/'t know how to help you.

I've been on both sides. I've been on the Healthy MI side for over 30 years of my life, and before it happened to me it was very hard for me to understand how it might feel to be like that. Now I understand it, but only because I have lived it. So they are just probably very confused too.

Thanks @Spookytookims. That's a really kind thing to say. Yeah I keep getting myself in a hole on the forum so am keeping it a bit small and random. Believe it or not I've been getting really anxious responding and posting. So I'm trying to do it gradually again....a bit here and a bit there. Boom and bust isn't working quite so well for me.

What are you studying. I'm not sure I caught that?
