Re: Complex PTSD - Depression - Anxiety - ADD - Fibro Myalgia/Chronic Fatigue - How do you "get over it"?

I have had some good counselling in the past, but no help with psychologists.
Most people don't "get it".
I do go to group once a week, that finishes soon. I've done alot of my own research/self help.
I'm going to have to say goodnight now. I hope you're ok tonight @Spookytookims
Sorry have to try and sleep soon.
Chat soon. 🌷🌼🌺

Nighty night to everyone 🌹🌸🌹
@Former-Member @CheerBear @Former-Member etc.....

Re: Complex PTSD - Depression - Anxiety - ADD - Fibro Myalgia/Chronic Fatigue - How do you "get over it"?

@Spookytookims, yes even my psych has said that my maternal instinct must be strong but i have also been told that it can be a good thing and is helping me to try and use that to control my DID. though there has been on occasion like earlier this week when his crying doesnt bring me back we are working on why that also happens. i also understand the meds i refuse anything stronger then the meds im on now its the only one that give some relief to my anxieties with out making me feel like a zombie. i the scariest thing about my alters is i once came back walking on a highway with know idea how i got there and know i dear how to get back untill police pulled up apparently i had been reported missing i was only 9 when that happened no one believed me when i said i didnt even remember waking up let alone how i got one the highway

Ahhh @Spookytookims - pleeeease don't apologise for posting ever! I was walking a weird path in those twisty circles (and my friend called me and I decided to actually answer her) when I heard my name here. I've caught up but banana brain won't let me reply anything sensible at all. It's all clicking with me for you more now though, and how much your INTP brain needs to get an understanding of how your brain is coping with everything. It could seem impossible sometimes to do and that would frustrate a thinking person so much, but that determination to get there will keep you pushing through it. It's all a bit bah-nanas in lots of ways 💕

Re: Complex PTSD - Depression - Anxiety - ADD - Fibro Myalgia/Chronic Fatigue - How do you "get over it"?

yes @Former-Member I think it might depend on the type of cry or maybe exactly where you are (headwise) when it happens... will be interesting to work through that and get some reall answers if that's even possible. Wonder if it could work the other way too and maybe times you could "teach" yourself to think of him and thus control yourself coming out using the thought of him as a positive proactive trigger.

Yin yang.... that dot in both sides... if there is something in one, there could be in the other. Just a thought anyhow.

Re the road. I woke up digging in my back yard, I also woke up with police around me too trying to get me into a police car, that's why I went to hospital. I think the trauma of that is what "blacked me out" for those near 3 weeks. I HATED that. I very very very very rarely ever allow myself to think of it. It is so not me.
