Hahaha @Spookytookims - i find myself often getting in a tangle with the letters when I've been talking about them for a while.

I really like knowing this 'stuff' about you (and anyone). I think it can really help with communication /miscommunication. The f/t is a huge difference between us (with the introverted function I take that to be the difference between logic and emotion lead?). I think the introverted intuition can lead to intensity for both of us. I could also be way off but this is my take and memory of it.

Hi @Former-Member. I'm sorry to hear your news. It's always hard when our kids need surgery. I've lived through it three times but it doesn't get any easier. Thinking of you and sending hugs and sending loads of best wishes for you and your daughter. 💜🤗

@CheerBear Do you have a link to that podcast you mentioned? Also, go to the last page of my clipart thread, i know you don't like it there but my last post this morning shows a "mindmap" of my IntpNess, think it will really help you to get a handle on our differences. Especially in you can expand the diagram depicting the brain. Basically mine is thinking creating, thinking thinking.

I can't go there @Spookytookims sorry. Not at the moment. Are you able to post it here because I would love to see. I know the INFP is often called "the mediator" and "the idealist". I just searched INTP and they're (you're) understood as "the logician". I come from the diplomats and your type is from the analysts. Psychology is a career path understood as being well suited to INTP types and social work for INFPs. I can see you as a thinking thinking thinking and creating type.

Will look for podcast now. It was the best one I have listened to.

Hope it's ok to post this link http://www.personalityhacker.com/podcast-episode-0085-intp-personality-type-advice/

I'm keen enough on understanding you (and personality types) that I am listening to the INTP podcast now @Spookytookims 😉

This is not the pic I compiled but here is an excerpt of a description of INTP

The Thinker

As an INTP, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Your secondary mode is external, where you take things in primarily via your intuition.

INTPs live in the world of theoretical possibilities. They see everything in terms of how it could be improved, or what it could be turned into. They live primarily inside their own minds, having the ability to analyze difficult problems, identify patterns, and come up with logical explanations. They seek clarity in everything, and are therefore driven to build knowledge. They are the "absent-minded professors", who highly value intelligence and the ability to apply logic to theories to find solutions. They typically are so strongly driven to turn problems into logical explanations, that they live much of their lives within their own heads, and may not place as much importance or value on the external world. Their natural drive to turn theories into concrete understanding may turn into a feeling of personal responsibility to solve theoretical problems, and help society move towards a higher understanding.

@Spookytookims - I think you'll really enjoy this podcast. I'm up to a part where they are discussing the challenges INTPs can face with connecting with others so they 'get it' for an INTP.

If only we all had time to understand everyone with a little more deeply!

This does almost need to be it's own thread now Tooky/Spooky though
