The Highlight of Your Day thread

Because I was so stressed yesterday, I took my tiny toy lion to bed with me...its name is Handsome And Then Some The Lion...he looks funny because it looks as though his bottom is squashed right into his head...but he is soft and has got a long silky mane, soooooo comforting.

Highlight of my day was coming home to the dishes done 😁 Normally the respite nurses only tend to 'personal care needs' of dad (sitting supervision mostly), yesterdays nurse can't stand just sitting & thought i could use a hand. The other day she swept the floor 😱 The others say "we're not supose to" Anyway, i nearly cried cause i've been so exhausted.

A highlight of my day today was something I found when I was on my way to a new thing I was feeling pretty anxious about going to. I was doing a "rainbow walk" to get there, focusing on trying to find things in each of the colours of the rainbow (it's a thing I learned from someone here and I do often). I find some colours can be pretty tricky to find, but today this was sitting on the footpath like it was waiting for me to come across it in that moment 😊

An origami star - another thing I've done before to get through. It gave me a big smile.

my highlight yesterday was being a good daughter. I had a nice night with my parents. 😊

Watching Wiseman's Ferry chug back and forth on my day off Wednesday, while eating an old fashioned hamcheezetomatoe toastie with coffee. So peaceful there :). Have you been here @Adge
