The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

I might have used stevia at one point Faith-and-Hope but I don’t make desserts much now. Actually I don’t even eat desserts much, or crave them.... I was just being funny 🤣

Yeah ..... got it as funny @Catcakes .... then turned it a bit serious ....

I had to off-set the flood of sweet stuff pouring through my door towards my kids. We didn’t have much like that when I was growing up, and I am selective even now .... has to have a decent amount of food value .... but you know what ? Sometimes something chocolate really hits the spot .....

And now I am wondering if @Phoenix_Rising managed to finish her Highlight Cake .....

I always preferred savoury over sweet, @Faith-and-Hope. Even as a kid I loved tasty cheeses, salami, olives and salty fish.

Thinking I should throw a vacuum around @Catcakes .... but first I am going to try to paint with coffee this morning .... will be a highlight if I do well with it .... 😊

Will come and post the image here if I am happy with it, I have been toying with the idea for the last year or so, since seeing others do it online.

before and thought of you @Faith-and-Hope. This would be teej style latte art. Find a cool image and print it 😜......but I’m not really keen on what they’d use as ink, I’m imagining very artificial, although I’m ignorant so could be wrong 😳:face_with_rolling_eyes:
