The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

The highlight of my day is that after four days, my writing words are finally coming back such that I can actually string a sentence together. Given I don't have anyone to talk talk to, it's probably a moot point that my talking words are still wonky. Yay for words!

The highlight of my day today was that I unbottled a little and found it helpful thank you to a helpful forumite. And that I went to a BBQ this afternoon and socialised and actually had fun. And that I also participated in a potentially tricky discussion tonight that I wasn't sure I would be able to do and found it really interesting and helpful also

(And that I caught the highlight above @Phoenix_Rising)

And that I just realised I shared lots more than one highlight of my day which seems like a highlight of it's own ☺

The highlight of my day was finding this in Coles.

The use-by date is tomorrow. I guess that means I have to eat it all by then. Somehow I think I can manage that.

I wish you were here to help me eat it @CheerBear or @NikNik...oh wait, no I don't.

The highlight of my day (apart from seeing and drooling over @Phoenix_Rising's chocolate cake) is paying off my credit card in full. I am completely debt free now! Such a relief!

Hey @Queenie, that is an awesome highlight! I went bankrupt at one time in my life due to a credit card, it wasn't a good experience. These days I refuse to have one (only a debit card, which functions the same way but keeps me within the actual limits of what I have in the bank). So now I live debt free and feel much happier for it. Way to go on getting yours down to zero! A big achievement!
