The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Mr f&h is leading a driven lifestyle, and we are caught within the backwash of it ..... so an afternoon without being regimented, or working around him being regimented, was heavenly.

Not wanting to go home tonight ght I parked outside a novelty shop and admired the collection of Christmas lights on display. But the real joy came, when out of the corner of my eye, in the quiet of the night, a cat crept out of the drain with a litter of x4 behind her. The kittens loved running free, following each other, finding them self alone and scurrying back to mum - such cute little things. Made me smile. I had just done shopping so left an open can of tuna for them. Made me think there's probably a whole world of tunnels under the street for them nobody knows about. 😃

mine was being a little too excited when I discovered I could make CheerBears not birthday card on my phone (merging and blending photos together and adding some cool text) .......on the bus coming home from my appointment (nearly missed my stop I was so engrossed) 😳😊💜

Today's highlight was my son ringing me first time since our little fallout last Sunday. It kinda went well but i was ready for it this time, & didn't react when he revisited the two topics that upset me before. Silence can scream volumes lol
