The Highlight of Your Day thread

The highlight of my day is, I summoned up enough courage to contact my uncle, who I haven't spoken to in over 20 years. It was to put some of the demons to bed so to speak. He hasn't replied yet, but I hold out hope he will.

Giggle. I didn't know you were floating around @NikNik. You must have a chocolate radar like I do.

The highlight of my day was starting up yoga. I already feel so zen 😆

My highlight is I'm having some Lindt chocolate. Yum....milk chocolate, smooth and creamy... Umm

Highlight today here was first of all making it to my 10.45am GP appointment after limited sleep last night. The sun seemed so bright when I first went out, I was squinting behind my shades, lol.

Bought some new chemist spectacles on the way so I can read fineprint again, another mini highlight. 🙂

Then had a fantastic consultation with my GP to prepare a mental health care plan for me to see a psychologist again, after not doing that for about a year. I felt my GP and I were communicating so well and felt she came to an even better understanding of my condition. She has been my doctor for 8-9 years and I so appreciate her skills, intelligence and thorough care for me.

So, all in all, the doctor visit today was the highlight and has lifted my optimism.

Labels don't mean much to me @Faith-and-Hope, had thought that would be so for those who want it. Same heart. Just fear, need a shield, distance, control, protection🌷🌿
