Back online, just saw your message from a couple of hours ago. Anxiety like that is awful. Sounds very reasonable to take your prn meds at a crisis time. Either way, I am guessing your mood might have moved on a bit since you posted. Sending hugs and hoping that there are some good moments amidst the bad. ![]()

@Ayesha,
I am hoping by now you may have spoken to your psychiatrist. Remember that if things get beyond endurance that you can call 000. So sorry you are going through this. If there are other immediate family or friends you can contact, you should contact them now. I will keep checking in on you tonight.

@Mazarita i dont know why you are being so kind to me....but thank you so very much....you are making me feel less alone.
I spoke to my psychiatrist ...at the time of the conversation I was feeling completly desperate and anxious as hell despite taking PRN hours ago.....I was a wreck and I just cried basically and got all confused.
I then became quite calm and then....of course....the mania hit and BAM off I went.....I pulled out half the vegie garden (after not being able to move due to anxiety and low mood) and did the whole worm farm regime and made batches....batches ....of food..
Im crashing again now.......my body has slowed again and my thoughts are getting shrouded in anxiety again......
Thursday cant come quick enough

Hi @Ayesha,
Glad you are feeling less on your own tonight. I relate to extreme distress at times with bipolar, from my past experiences.
Great that you spoke to your psychiatrist and he knows about your distress.
Keep checking in. I am often up until midnight.
If it would help to get your anxious thoughts out in writing, you could do that, either here or just for yourself at home. That has sometimes helped me in times of distress.
Hugs,
Maz

Hi @Ayesha,
Just stopping in again. Great that you have access to the private hospital. Sounds like you will be getting very good care.
I hope you are feeling a bit better. Getting to sleep as soon as you feel able could be a good idea tonight. And the forum has a 'Night Shift' thread if you can't sleep and want company. I will be there a bit later and will tag you from there so you know where to find it, if needed. But, yeah, sleep seems like it could be helpful.
