Auditories

Hi I was using substances and developed auditories during this time my neighbours who were supplying the substances and knew of my predisposition bullied me it was an awful time. I have stopped using substances and have been sleeping well. I still have to live here. The way I was treated was awful and it was not all in my head. I would like to know if anyone else has had this sort of targeted bulling and how they kept there head up and rose above the aftermath of such a display of uncaring hostility towards there mental health and the self

I had a recent episode of psychosis (first one) and some of the neighbours (drug dealers and criminals) took advantage and exploited me during this period. I still live here, it's hard.. keep to myself and avoid them when possible. It's awful knowing that people will take advantage of those who are in a vulnerable state...my family and friends have also washed their hands of me and I feel like there was no-one actually looking out for me which makes things feel so much worse. I'm just trying to focus on getting better now. I don't have any answers but I can understand how devastating it is and I'm sorry to hear you went through this too.. maybe staying connected on forums like this will help.

I’m really sorry to hear you go taken advantage of when you were unwell. It’s great that you have been able to stop using substance and have been able to sleep. Sleep is so important when you are experiencing psychosis. Do you have support from a mental health professional/medical professional? This community is here to support you.
