Day too day life -circumstances

Day too day life -circumstances

Hi @ whom it may concern. I am feeling incredibly overwhelmed bye my circumstances and stuff like motivation which I suppose you could call depression.

Feeling very foggy, lethargic, drowsy, lightheaded and rather helpless against my circumstances. Which medication probably contributes to. Not sure what too do or who to be angry at. It's destroying me. -and most importantly what do I do too help myself or who do I turn too so they can help?

I slept into 11am and it was because it was easier then facing today. And now I'm up and have had a couple coffees and a few smokes and brekky. -I'm thinking... what am I meant to do??? In this terrible state of consciousness I am in??? Can't really go for a walk. Cause I don't feel well enough. And don't really feel like visiting anyone. Ignored a call from a number my phone don't don't recognize. Cause afraid of dilemma an drama and just don't feel well. And I'm thinking might as well just stay at home the whole day.

I pushed a friend away yesterday. Too protect myself. A friend who is on the same depot Injection. And in the same housing set up. And the mhs tried to get me on the same anti depressants as him. And I'm thinking. It's a set up bye the mhs and support worker sw and I ain't really happy about it. -it's their idea of social rehabilitation.

I've weighed up my options. Visit someone. Family. Friends. Or go for a drive and walk with dog. (Just don't feel like it) not a great deal else to do.

Was dealing with thoughts of guilt and blame for things going wrong and people dying this morning. (Common theme) and dealing with negative projections from others. And negative opinions about my projection. -as if they were all sitting in a cinema where my life story (reality) and my thoughts (mental in my head) were being played. -it's like they can all see it... and what they think and feelabout it. Effects me greatly. -it's hard rule out it not being true once I consider real life Instincts.

Will stop writing now.

Worried about my cat and dog. Because they need looking after and it just seems to hard. Especially the dog with walking and stuff.

Food for thought. Give me what ya got.

@Former-Member my day was alright but not the best. There wasnt to many upsets. I'm straightening out from a bad patch.

@utopia yea that sounds good. Talking with people who are detached from the heat of the battle definitely helps.

I've found that the drink and the green definitely don't help my problems. But at times there's no other option. And there's nothing else to really do with my life. And immediately after catching up with certain people I'm exposed to it. So it's like me trying to pull them out of it. Or them trying to pull me into it. And quite often I loose the battle. -plus I don't have a great deal of social options. But cause of my social issues. So it's a bit of a predicament when it comes down to my strength and will power.

Re: Day too day life -circumstances

You seem to really understand what's going on for you and around you @eudemonism. That's a tough battle. Hope your day hasn't too many upsets in it today either.

Re: Day too day life -circumstances

Morning, @eudemonism. Got your post late about not getting to page three. I don't think it matters how long it is. Wonder if you'll be journalling again today. I had a time when almost all I could do was write. It was a lifeline through some very tough stuff, even if a bit manic crazy in the way I did it. I've just recently given up the booze. Feels good. Still falling down on the green but I'm not ready to address that again just now. Know what you mean about the social circle and struggling at times to find the willpower. Hope it's a good one for you today.

Re: Day too day life -circumstances

@eudemonism. Yes it's hard when our social circle includes those substances in everyday life - especially if wanting to reduce or stop using.
Like any addiction - tobacco (I smoke like a chimney) - you have to be ready to do something about it. Until then .....

Re: Day too day life -circumstances

@utopia hmm smoking is a real curse. I been smoking for about 18 years now. And I'd classify myself a chimney too. And yes you're right in what you're saying.

Re: Day too day life -circumstances

@eudemonism. Bugger. Just did the math. 32 years smoking. Most of that 20 a day. Now closer to 30 a day. Scary.

Re: Day too day life -circumstances

I remember how it all started @utopia and my oh my the devil really pulled the wool over my eyes. Oh well. Can't go back now.

I've had an Interesting life when I really think about it. That's even when I consider all th good and bad bits.

It's definitely no fairytale.

How you going today anyway? I hope the world is being nice to you.

Re: Day too day life -circumstances

@eudemonism. I'm doing pretty well today. Just woke up. As was up til 5am reading a report on an Aboriginal Rock Art site in Victoria. Got hooked and had to read the whole report then and there. That will teach me not to look up new reports so late at night. Lol
How are you going today? Was your weekend been good?

Re: Day too day life -circumstances

Yea I'm well thanks @utopia I'm feeling well and have gotten a few positive things done today. -I was upset a little bit before about seeing the police. But have moved on since then. It triggers things within side my mind. And my weekend was ok. Seen a few friends and visited a few people. Am just having lunch and then waiting for a call from a friend. Does reading Interest you? It sounds like it would of been an interesting report.

Re: Day too day life -circumstances

@eudemonism. Did you have to deal with the police or was it that you noticed them in passing? No need to answer if you don't want to.
I'm glad you spent time catching up with friends. I've been isolating myself lately. So really need to 'get out there again'.
I love reading. And I really love researching Aboriginal History.
