Empty nester with severe agoraphobia feeling isolated and afraid. I have no friends. Im new here hoping to build a community for myself. Still learning how to use this app. Would love some help.

Thank you for replying. Im incredibly lonely and a recluse. I want this to change but am too afraid and dont know how to meet people to share interests with or for company. Its taking its toll on me I feel so vulnerable and very low.

Hello @Kimba27 and welcome to the forums ☺️. I'm usually around most of the time and enjoy chatting to many people within the forums. Do you have any hobbies/interests? I love doing diamond art, Lego/miniblocks, colouring, writing poetry, pretty much anything crafty. I also have a labrador puppy named Casper who is full of character. Look forward to getting to know a bit about you and seeing you around the forums ❤️.

Good on you for sharing and find a space to communicate. Great place to gain confidence and find some ways to tackle it.
I bought a property to be isolated and have my own space. So relate. Do my best to not spend much time outside of my space so am here if you ever need to chat or express your feelings. Following along this chat so anytime add a reply and I will add my two cents worth and ask some questions or tell you a bit about myself.

thank you. Im so lonely and suffering panic dissorder. I want to meet people in real life to build connections with but too afraid to go outside. Its taking its toll.

My depression limits any interests I used to have. Watching TV seems to be my only interest these days. Im quite scared and alone and dont know how to navigate this or how to meet people for deep friendships.

its been a few years but I got real sick this past December was hospitalised after a nervous breakdown. How do I make real life friends ? I have so much to offer but too afraid to go outside
