Re: Carers under 30...

Do you have a current pdoc too @outlander? I thought you may have seen someone about your stomach.

Re: Carers under 30...

yeah pdoc is my psychiatrist @Former-Member i see her every few months for medication reviews but thats about it.

ive spoken to my gp about my stomach for the past few months but apparently they can do anything and find running further tests a waste of time.

Re: Carers under 30...

I guess you would have checked med interactions @outlander are you there any lifestyle things like meal size, avoiding certain foods, posture post eating that help?

Re: Carers under 30...

Yep @Former-Member that was one of the firsts i ruled out. It actually started really suddenly a few months ago where i was getting up stomach acid. Its setlled more now with meds. I cant have anything fizzy, acidic, spicy, saucey, oily, fried or large meals. Oh and sleeping upright abit or only on my left side is the only way to go.

In general though i feel pretty yuk, nausated and full of reflux. They said it can take quite a while to resettle and heal but each time i aggrivate it its giving it a setback so something as simple as having a large meal can make it stretch and reaggrivate everything.

Im sure itll workout eventually but eventually cant seem to come soon enough!

How's things with you and mr D?

Re: Carers under 30...

Mr D struggling a bit at present, number of factors,,injury playing up - think this is driving anxiety, bored but feeling he can't do what he used to be able to do plus more. His dad (who did some awful things) is at end of life - we need to organise interstate trip - Mr D wants to go but is reluctant to commit to a booking as there are family issues and it is a lot of $ but as he has told friends he is planning on going I will need to make the arrangements.

I must get some sleep - hope you get some too.
