Re: Carers under 30...

If you are finding them too stressful @Former-Member it might be wise.
I was a member of a support group for a disorder but found it wasn't helpful as people tended to post only negative things.
I feel that one can live well in spite of a mental health diagnosis and that there is hope.
Even on this site I try to limit my posts and try to offer practical coping solutions to other carers.

Hey @outlander
I have been out (rather rudely sat on my phone to keep an eye on conflict forum). I am just home and phone is just about flat. I'll catch you tomorrow evening my pet as busy work day.

Re: Carers under 30...

Hello @Overlander my possum
I have been thinking about you a lot the last day or so and I am afraid I'm going to sound like my mum who a friend describes as a tough old broad. My pet, many things in life happen to us that are difficult to deal with but it is so important not to let our hearts become bitter. To survive as a carer we need to have hippo size capacity to forgive (to go with the rhino skin and elephant heart). Hard to do at first, but with experience gets easier ... it is something one does for them self as it releases anger and pain that can weigh down ones heart.

Now onto you my chickadee, how did you get on today?

Re: Carers under 30...

im trying to not let my heart get bitter @Former-Member im moving forward with things on here but on the outside world shite has just happened again and im trying not to worry about it but i jsut threw my phone and hoping its not broken and not through someoen on here its in the outside world. i can tell u or not tell u thats up to you

im trying to put my tough skin on i really am but at the moment i feel like a total monstor

my gp thinks that it may be a skin infection/condition causing it so we are going to try the steroid cream over the weekend three times a day and see if it has any effect but my actaul breast hurts as well too not so i dont think its going to work and i might need some other tests which im hoping thats not the case.
