Re: Carers under 30...

abit of everything @Former-Member trying to be ok myself, and trying to help pop who doesnt really want help and takes it all out on me. trying to get a dementia and aged care assessment to see if i can get him some help which will in turn elp me too. trying to walk on a foot that i was told isnt broken but i cant weight bear, move, and am on constant pain meds for.

Re: Carers under 30...

Perhaps tendon damage or other @outlander if it is not healing. When is your next GP visit?

Re: Carers under 30...

i had the xrays and things come back today so went and seen the gp today too and said that the xray looked weird but theres no fractures. it only happened 2-3 days ago, so maybe its just done brusing. im not sure if it would be tendon cause it wouldve been classed as a crush injury from a machine falling on top of it.

A new injury @outlander? I was thinking it was the old one. Is it the same foot?

Re: Carers under 30...

oh hadnt i said anything to you guys about the washing machine?
yeah this one was only done 2-3 days ago when i picked up a new machine and it fell down the stairs and crushed the top end of my foot.
yep its the right foot again. because i cant walk properly now its affecting the old injury as well. something doesnt feel right though, ive been looking at the xrays myself and i cant see anything but it feels like when i done my hand with the swelling stiffness- cant move it and quite abit of pain esp in my toes and the soft padding underneath at the top near the base of my toes. @Former-Member

Ow, ow, ow my chickadee.

See how it goes after rest @outlander, have you got it all strapped up? If there is a hairline fracture it might not show until callus formation occurs.

Re: Carers under 30...

yes ouchy indeed @Former-Member

ive been mostly off it now since it happened only been to the horses but other than that ive been at home with it up and resting but if i have it to still it starts to hurt more.
its not strapped up yet, they didnt say to strap it just use pain killers to help with pain and swelling but other than that nothing.
its worrying me that he said hmm it looks weird but doesnt say anything else. there are 2 white dots attached to my big toe but i dont know what they are either but nothings written in the report about it so might just be the lighting/angling....
my foot almost looks normal apart from the swelling and pain and stiffness. theres not even bruising showing on the skin. really strange. my hand was the same- didnt have any brusing at all but there was a break.

Fingers and toes crossed that it is all superficial and heals well @outlander. Little wonder you are feeling out of sorts ....
