@outlander, we've got most of our bills on direct debit. And yep, the rest of the budget fits around whatever's left.

Good food doesn't have to be expensive, and cheap food doesn't have to be boring. Often it's more a matter of know how.

Thanks so much for touching base. I am doing so well. We're looking really bright for the new year. My love has had some really tough times, including a severe but thankfully not life threatening self-harm incident in November but thankfully with a lot of support and a tweak to medication, nothing since.

We are happily planning the new year and enjoying some much needed down time.
